Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino

4.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We've been vacationing at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Casino for many years, and enjoy it so much that for the past couple of years we have been going there twice a year. We only have positive reviews on this hotel, from the beautiful, well-groomed grounds, clean rooms and, of course, to the welcoming staff that have become our friends over the years. So many wonderful restaurants nearby to choose from. And, you can't beat that Aruba weather!!!

We love staying at Grand Hyatt when we go to Aruba. We have been going to this hotel last 8 years . I am a bit annoyed with their beach chair reservations policy.First 3 rows are available only if you reserve a day before at 4 PM.I understand this policy if hotel is fully booked. But it wasn't. You can also reserve it on line in advance but you need to pay for this service.Staff working on the beach are very greedy. They helped us first day to get chairs and put towels on the chairs. We didn't tip them so next day they didn't help us at all. They put towels on all chairs regardless. One day we took chairs with towels and nobody came to claim it until sunset.Hotel was not full but looked like all chairs were occupied with towels. I wanted to mention this issue to front desk but this time ,we felt ther was no point of wasting our time.I am sure others have already complained. Hotel like Grand Hyatt shouldn't try make money by reserving beach chairs. They can add extra few dollars on hotel room.We felt a a very cheap trick

Great time,it is so nice great pool great spot on ocean, our second time here ,too the kids this time, awesome time, will be back!

very good enjoyed the stay the check in good of been a little faster but still think it is a #1 hotel

5th time to Aruba .. best spot yet... loved the pools .... clean cool and very secure... birds fish and more...

Great stay. Beautiful grounds, welcoming and accommodating staff...all in a great location. Would definitely stay here again

Great experience overall. Just one thing: our room was sold as "ocean view" but the ocean was not visible through palm trees blocking the view!

Had a wonderful stay during February. This hotel is close to the beach, town and many other hotels. Staff was always there for whatever you needed. Concierge was amazing helping us plan all our dinner reservations and day trip/activities.

Great family place, we had a great time. Food was great, staff was nice. Pool water was hot , they should pump cold water into pool.

Had a wonderful time. Staff are very helpful. Nice to be able to go to the beach and not be charged for everything.

From the champagne welcome to the beautiful view it was an excellent trip!!!

I stay at the Hyatt Regency whenever vacationing in Aruba.. It will does not disappoint.

Hotel was beautiful as were the grounds. The location couldn't have gotten any better. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Only complaint about the hotel was the bed! Very uncomfortable along with the sheets. Couldn't wait to get back to my bed but sad we had to leave.

location is great. Hotel very clean but I feel the restaurants and drinks are very over priced. Aruba is a pricey place, but I feel the Hyatt is especially $$$$.

The hotel was so beautiful. The landscaping with waterfalls, birds and trees make you feel like you are on a tropical island. There is a water slide for kids (totally suitable for adults as well) and there are multiple pools. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. If you're going to Aruba, visit the Hyatt.

Stayed 2 weeks. Everything went better than planned. 9th floor People were GREAT

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Hyatt Regency Aruba. Great hotel, convenient location to dining and shopping. We enjoyed the pool and beach, water sports and did a 1/2 day trip seeing some of the island sights like the Alto Vista Chapel, Gold Mine and the Natural Pool which was a highlight. We liked finding restaurants off the main strip - Madame Janette (great food), The Old Cunicu House and Buccaneer were in neighborhoods - which was good change of scenery.

great experience would highly recommend this hotel

amazing, nice staff, great things to do, I would stay there again with no question asked.

Gorgeous hotel...on the most gorgeous beach...sometimes it does feel pricey for the product...mostly the food...not good enough to be that expensive...that said, the facility is fabulous and the staff -- very helpful.
