Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino

I highly recommend this hotel, and having walked along the beach and scoped out the others in the area (Marriott, Hilton, Riu Palace) the Hyatt seemed to be smaller and nicer than the rest, so we were happy we chose it. My one complaint is that the food and drinks were expensive. It's no surprise that food/drink are cheaper off the hotel property and fortunately there are plenty of options around. But if you plan on laying on the beach all day drinking cocktails ($12-$15 apiece) it adds up fast. The hotel itself is great, the staff is very courteous, the concierge was helpful, the gym is clean and well furnished, and rooms are what you'd expect from the Hyatt. The lobby offers great views out on the water. The hotel also has an easy booking process for palapas and offers free rafts for floating in the ocean, which we didn't see anywhere else and were a great feature for relaxing on the water. All in all, I recommend this place but think you're better off going elsewhere for drinks (or BYO) and food (although what we did eat at the Hyatt was delicious).

The Hyatt was incredible as always! The staff was perfect on the beach and in the facility. Just an amazing experience overall!!!

Bad experience, bugs in the bed took pictures tryed to talk to management they would not come to see me they stayed away all week. Bites on my back my family was upset all week. I will disbut the hotel rate with my credit card.

A simple hot 12 dollars. Male staff not too corteous.

There's not one thing I can say negatively about this hotel. We've stayed here a few times and we were never disappointed. They go above and beyond to make your vacation special from the beautiful scenery and amazing food to the convenience of being right in the center of everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aruba.

Great overall experience. staff was accomodating and room was clean.

My family and I loved the Hyatt Regency. It's location was perfect for everything! The grounds are the most beautiful of any other property we saw and the service was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again - as a matter of fact, we meet many people who stay here exclusively when they travel to Aruba. Loved it!

I've always loved Hyatt Hotels, this one inpeticular has special meaning, my wife and I met there 26 years ago. It was great to see many of the original staff members that have been there from the beginning. Says a lot about Hyatt Phylocify.! Excellent location and excellent swimming,

was good trip would go back and stay at the hyatt no complaints aruba is gorgeous place

This hotel was perfect for my toddler with its animals and greenery. It was a step away from the beautiful beach. The palapas were easily rented ahead of time and the staff sets it up with towels in the morning so you don't have to do much. The hotel nickel and dimed is for placing local calls $1.50 each but the staff was so sweet and happy you over looked it. The rooms were clean but on the small side with no balcony. My hubby wanted to sit on a balcony to enjoy the view and his beers but it didn't fit a chair. Aruba was a price gouge. His six pack canned Corona cost $42 at the convenience store but that was a bargain compared to the bar $10 each. I love Aruba so I didn't care but he is more partial to other traveled beaches.

Beautiful hotel! The beach was amazing! The hotel staff went over and above to help you! The Mexican restaurant had the best fajitas I have ever had. The location was great!

The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was friendly. I was not disappointed and would definitely recommend staying here.

Mingling with the garden plants, wildlife and water features are all fantastic adding to the very serene relaxing, or energetic if you want it, atmosphere at all times.

We've been vacationing at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Casino for many years, and enjoy it so much that for the past couple of years we have been going there twice a year. We only have positive reviews on this hotel, from the beautiful, well-groomed grounds, clean rooms and, of course, to the welcoming staff that have become our friends over the years. So many wonderful restaurants nearby to choose from. And, you can't beat that Aruba weather!!!

We love staying at Grand Hyatt when we go to Aruba. We have been going to this hotel last 8 years . I am a bit annoyed with their beach chair reservations policy.First 3 rows are available only if you reserve a day before at 4 PM.I understand this policy if hotel is fully booked. But it wasn't. You can also reserve it on line in advance but you need to pay for this service.Staff working on the beach are very greedy. They helped us first day to get chairs and put towels on the chairs. We didn't tip them so next day they didn't help us at all. They put towels on all chairs regardless. One day we took chairs with towels and nobody came to claim it until sunset.Hotel was not full but looked like all chairs were occupied with towels. I wanted to mention this issue to front desk but this time ,we felt ther was no point of wasting our time.I am sure others have already complained. Hotel like Grand Hyatt shouldn't try make money by reserving beach chairs. They can add extra few dollars on hotel room.We felt a a very cheap trick

Great time,it is so nice great pool great spot on ocean, our second time here ,too the kids this time, awesome time, will be back!

very good enjoyed the stay the check in good of been a little faster but still think it is a #1 hotel

5th time to Aruba .. best spot yet... loved the pools .... clean cool and very secure... birds fish and more...

Great stay. Beautiful grounds, welcoming and accommodating staff...all in a great location. Would definitely stay here again

Great experience overall. Just one thing: our room was sold as "ocean view" but the ocean was not visible through palm trees blocking the view!

Black swans and koi feeding Iguanas and lizards everywhere. My son chased them around.
