Was a little early to check in...when ready wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Small kitchen. Water didn't get hot. No blanket just a sheet. Not luxury. Had plenty to channels. If no computer had one to use in front office. Breakfast was basic. Basically cheap for a reason.
Stayed a week at the Coconut Inn. We chose this option as it was 1/4 of the price for the high rise area (Palm Beach). We actually also liked the hotel/motel. We even decided not to rent a car as Palm Beach is only 20 minutes walk away. Staff at the hotel was very friendly. Some restaurants and shops around but be careful if walking as this is not pedestrian friendly area. While staying at the hotel we decided to spend two days/one night at the Renessaince Hotel in order to spend some time at Renessaince Island. For us this was a very good decision. At Coconut Inn you also get breakfast (basic) and the water in the shower is warm. We didn't use the tv nor the pool.
Company whom I work with arranged this for me overnight stay. I didn’t have time to check online but already saw that people expected different things. Room was somewhere 60-70’s? Smells mold, mattresses were original, yak. Had get couple of beers before take a shower. It was middle of nowhere and company police has been that you should get food. There is no bar or restaurant and photos what they have...... You had to take taxi to buy something. Internet was bad when tried to make some work. This is backpackers and budget travelers, no for families or business traveler, no way it’s not a hotel. Worst place I have been and I’m traveling over 200 days per year a round the world. Company took for me a cheapest.
A family of 4 (2 kids under the age of 6) were flying to Aruba, and unfortunately our flight got cancelled, and we had to fly out on Dec 31st instead of Jan 1st, we stayed at Coconut Inn before we moved to our originally booked resort on Jan 1st. We stayed at Coconut Inn for one night and left at 12pm the next day. I was pleasantly surprised, the receptionist was very nice and helpful. The rooms are not bad, we were on the 2nd floor, 2 double beds, there was a fridge, AC, stove and a good size washroom. The a good size TV, which had lots of channels, kids enjoyed that very much as they were able to watch cartoons. Our room looked over the pool. The next morning, we helped ourselves to breakfast (included in the price). A great variety and the restaurant was cozy and there was plenty of space to eat both inside and outside around the pool. For the price we paid, the service was excellent. Coconut Inn is a great place to stay, and its located very close to the main town and public beaches. It took a 15 min taxi ride to get to main town center. After a 8hr flight, Coconut Inn offered a warm welcome.
Coconut inn is a perfect hotel for the visitors that look for a place to sleep and eat breakfast. It is a small hotel with comfortable rooms. The breakfast is simple and with low balance in the food; for example, they do not offer fruits or fresh juices. The ubication is very good, it is important to rent a car to go easily to every where.
I booked this Inn on Trip Advisor as a recommended hotel. My experience was horrible . The room's walls and floors literally ran with moisture, the room smelled of mold, the chairs were cheap plastic and the wifi only worked in reception. It should be removed from a Trip Advisor recommended Inn. There is no bar nor restaurant.
I was staying in the Coconut Inn for a week and it was a nice apartment for two persons. There were to queen-size beds, which were comfortable. The bathroom was big and also clean. The breakfast was okay but you shouldn't expect a lot from it. The receptionist was very friendly and she gave us a lot of information about the island and she told us for example how to walk to the beach. Moreover, the accomondation is good located, because you can walk to Palm Beach in only 15 minutes.
The Coconut Inn is a good hotel for people who are staying in Aruba for a short time. It has great value. Eventhough the breakfast is a bit minimal it still was good for me to start the day with. The pool looked clean and the receptionist was a lovely person who cared and remembered the little issues we had as my girlfriend experienced. The personal touch of the receptionist was really nice as my girlfriend experienced.
We stayed at the Coconut Hotel Inn for one night. The receptionists are very nice and have exceptional customer service. The price is too high for the way it looks. In the morning the breakfast was a disaster. It was arranged in a self-service way however there was a lady who was telling you:" if you want fried eggs you can not have also scrambled eggs :))" everything was at the minimum , portional, watermelon 2 pices per person. Conclusion- it's not s bad hotel however the price doesnt correspond
I needed a place on very short notice while I was already on the island and I found this place on Tripadvisor. It directed me to Booking.com and I booked right away at a great rate. Check in was fast and the manager was the nicest guy ever. I got a great room at a great price. There is a nice big pool and a great hot breakfast in the morning. A/C worked great and the beds were comfortable. American TV which was great too. It's safe and quiet, until the morning when the roosters crow....but thats actually pretty cool. The next day I realized I needed to stay another night. Th price on-line had gone way up. I spoke to the same manager who said no problem and he'd give me the same reduced rate. Fantastic!
