I booked this Inn on Trip Advisor as a recommended hotel. My experience was horrible . The room's walls and floors literally ran with moisture, the room smelled of mold, the chairs were cheap plastic and the wifi only worked in reception. It should be removed from a Trip Advisor recommended Inn. There is no bar nor restaurant.
I was staying in the Coconut Inn for a week and it was a nice apartment for two persons. There were to queen-size beds, which were comfortable. The bathroom was big and also clean. The breakfast was okay but you shouldn't expect a lot from it. The receptionist was very friendly and she gave us a lot of information about the island and she told us for example how to walk to the beach. Moreover, the accomondation is good located, because you can walk to Palm Beach in only 15 minutes.
The Coconut Inn is a good hotel for people who are staying in Aruba for a short time. It has great value. Eventhough the breakfast is a bit minimal it still was good for me to start the day with. The pool looked clean and the receptionist was a lovely person who cared and remembered the little issues we had as my girlfriend experienced. The personal touch of the receptionist was really nice as my girlfriend experienced.
We stayed at the Coconut Hotel Inn for one night. The receptionists are very nice and have exceptional customer service. The price is too high for the way it looks. In the morning the breakfast was a disaster. It was arranged in a self-service way however there was a lady who was telling you:" if you want fried eggs you can not have also scrambled eggs :))" everything was at the minimum , portional, watermelon 2 pices per person. Conclusion- it's not s bad hotel however the price doesnt correspond
I needed a place on very short notice while I was already on the island and I found this place on Tripadvisor. It directed me to Booking.com and I booked right away at a great rate. Check in was fast and the manager was the nicest guy ever. I got a great room at a great price. There is a nice big pool and a great hot breakfast in the morning. A/C worked great and the beds were comfortable. American TV which was great too. It's safe and quiet, until the morning when the roosters crow....but thats actually pretty cool. The next day I realized I needed to stay another night. Th price on-line had gone way up. I spoke to the same manager who said no problem and he'd give me the same reduced rate. Fantastic!
A good small budget hotel with breakfast. Just a stone's throw from the Palm Beach shopping & restaurants area. Front desk service was very good and we got good tips for everyday's activities. Room superior studio with balcony had two small beds. Bed was too short for me (average European). Free view window from outside corridor to shower was quite uncomfortable. Shower towels was very small. Room cleaning was good.
Had a great stay at the coconut inn as always, this is the 5th or 6th time stayng at the coconut inn and everytime is a little bit better then the last. Angel & anthony rojer has been upgrading the rooms and the staff couldn't have been nicer to every need. I look forward to my next trip to Aruba and my stay at the coconut.
Me and my boyfriend are traveling on a budget, and chose the coconut in because it was cheaper than most of the hotels, and we got a gas top and some cooking equipment in the room so we could make our own dinner. The rooms are a little bit old, but still nice, and they were cleaned every day! The free breakfast is very good, and we're very happy about the laundry that is available. Everyone working here is super kind and service minded. Its about 20 minute walk to the beach, but they also have a pool if you wanna stay there. It's super idyllic here, and I would stay here again!!
This motel felt dirty, from the roaches on the counter to the window looking into the shower. Yes I said window looking into the shower chest high with no frosted glass, no curtains just full view of your body to anyone walking by. The guns going off in the middle of the night was not great either, it is not in an area outsiders should be in. We were unfortunately put in here by an airline and didn't have a choice. The beds only have one half sheet, crawl under it and your on the mattress. Comforter was paper thin and scratchy. As it has been said you get your money's worth, if that means no comfort, fowl smells, roaches, peeping tom showers, then the Coconut Inn is perfect for you. Not for me
The building looks great in pictures. In person it's less than expected. Don't expect to take any warm showers, cold is all you get. The rooms are outdated. Some having a stove top, while others don't. The fridges are small dorm sized which is difficult for people staying more than a few nights. They tout the experience as "a pleasant and unforgettable experience." It sure is with all the hoodlums staying there and no security to prevent anything from happening. The staff leaves the premises at night so you are left to fend for yourselves. Really nice way to take care of your guests! The location is adjacent to the locally acknowledged hood/ghetto. We heard gunshots one night right outside the gate to the property. Parents leaving their kids unattended at the pool even though it's clearly marked adult supervision only. No on cares including the Staff if it happens. How is anyone to relax when there are kids running around the pool unattended who can't swim without flotation devices on screaming bloody murder? Apparently, the other guests are expected to be the Lifeguards. After several years we have decided we will never stay here again. I do NOT recommend.
