Taxi rides about $8 to everywhere on island. Great staff. Quiet facility.

The hotel is a small size, not a high rise, so we felt our service was very personal, we met with the concierge numerous times without waiting. Eagle beach is directly across the street and is beautiful. Buses can take you south to shopping "downtown" or north to shopping and restaurants near the high rise hotels, so convenient to everything.

Everything about ou stay was wonderful. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suit, Richard the bartender at beach was excellent and Peter was excellent at pool side bar, plus he sings! Had dinner at Passions on Saturday night, it was spectacular! The ambiance and sunset were amazing! Amy was our waitress, very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this resort to all!

The staff was very welcoming. My boyfriend and I had a great time!

A very nice experience, hotel staff very nice one in particular his name is Juan goes out his way to make sure you are having a nice time, a small pool but it was always empty the beach was like a pool I can see why the pool was empty. they have two, restaurants breakfeast we had every morning was not bad, we had a couple of meals on the beach also no bad had a good time...

Great mattress. Beautiful beach. Expensive but good restaurant. Quiet. Good pool. Negative: At the beach around 4pm they start to preparate the restaurant. You have to move from there, very incomfortable. They occuped all beach so early for restaurant. Then if you like to stay all afternoon at the beach..., sorry you must to find another hotel.

Nice hotel, very clean and well maintained property. Staff was nice and helpful with anything you may need. Rooms were kept clean and it is nice to have the little kitchenette with refrigerator in room if you wish to use. The overall location as far as access to things was good. You cross the street and are on Eagle Beach which is a long stretch of sandy beach. This beach is much less crowded than Palm Beach in the high rise area. If you want to go to the high rise area (Palm Beach) you could walk or there is a bus stop on beach right in front of hotel that runs every 15-20 minutes and takes you towards Palm beach or in other direction to downtown for about $2.50 p.p. Or the hotel will call a cab that arrives within minutes and it is an $8 ride to Palm Beach area. Palm Beach is where to go for walking around to restaurants, casinos, night life. The hotel is a short walk to Super Foods which is a nice to stock up on drinks, snacks etc. There is one downside to the location. It is near the islands waste water plant (you can’t see it) but at time is unfortunately downwind depending on the wind direction at times. This can cause some occasional odor to be noticed in the area. Again this is nothing against the hotel. I read reviews that said the felt the odor was unbearable during their stay. That seems extremely overly stated at least from our experience. For us it was not “unbearable” or I would have checked out and moved elsewhere, but I cannot say that we did not noti

Professional and courteous staff. We a great time in part because of our stay in this hotal

This was my favorite vacation ever, Aruba was beautiful. The hotel was comfortable and welcoming. Small enough to meet your neighbors or enjoy your privacy. Super Foods is 2-3 blocks away, with the kitchenette we had snacks and made lunches for the beach. I was on the patio at all hours, even at 3:00 AM I always felt safe. I hope to go back soon.

Our first time in Aruba. So glad we chose this hotel!!!!!! Checked in and got a personal tour and a welcome drink. Right next to a gorgeous beach that never felt crowded. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and the whole resort was so beautiful and well taken care of. We loved the happy hours at our hotel. Can't say enough good things about the hotel! Ellen was absolutely the best and helped us have an incredible anniversary in Aruba. Highly recommend!!!

I was very pleased with my experience at Amsterdam Manor. I booked the room after reading numerous positive reviews on different sites, and I'm glad I did! The resort is located in the "low rise" section of Aruba, which means that there are no high rise hotels nearby, which also means it is much less crowded. The resort is located across the street from the beach, and there were plenty of chairs and covered tiki hut areas for us to sit and floats to lay on while in the water or use as a cushion for the chair. We booked several excursions through the hotel and enjoyed them all. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful, and we never encountered an issue while we were there. We stayed in the smaller one bedroom, which had plenty of room for two people with the bed, small dining table with a kitchenette (stovetop, microwave, dishes, and small fridge) and bathroom.

We enjoyed the Amsterdam Manor a lot. It was across the street from Eagle Beach but it is right across, it takes 20 seconds to have your feet in the sand so don't let that discourage you. It was far better then being at a high rise and having to walk some distance to the beach. I did give the Staff/Service a 5 but only because the staff was very friendly and helpful. The service at the restaurant and beach bar were not a 5 and I would probably rate it a 2or 3. It took forever to get our food, a drink never came at the restaurant and trying to get the tab to pay it took forever. The beach bar service was so bad the first day we got there we went to the grocery store which sells alcohol and bought our own and mixed our own drinks on the beach. Other then that we really did enjoy our stay. The rooms were clean and again the staff was excellent in the hotel.

This was our first time to Aruba and as a brand new married couple on our honeymoon, this hotel made our stay so much more amazing! Absolutely love all the people here and will definitely return!

Really you cant go wrong staying here. It is on the quieter side of the island but it has a bus stop right out front which can take you to were all the bar hopping is at. It gets pretty quiet out there at night but nice for a get away. At night, try their restaurant that is on the beach (literally) which is amazing and has great food.

Hotel is located one street away from the beach--in a quiet location about a mile away from the busy part of the city. We rented a car one day to explore the island, hotel arranged pick up and drop off the car, very helpful. Had a great dinner at the hotel one night. They played a movie on the beach. Really a great place-- cant wait to return!

Across from Eagle Beach what else can you say! Near all the supermarkets and they have a restaurant that you can eat out on the beach! Perfect stay and would recommend to anyone!

The hotel is good and very conveniently located however sewer smell is a big issue. Be ware

We stayed here in March 2015. We are a family of 4 with 2 parents and college age son and daughter. We had a 2 bedroom suite with 2 baths that was like an apartment and was spacious with a full kitchen. We also had a fantastic deck overlooking the beach. There was a large supermarket walking distance from the hotel to get breakfast and lunch items. We did the wonderful restaurants at night, and there are many right by the hotel. The beach is perfect and across the street, just steps away and easy to get to, road has little traffic. The European look of the hotel building is very quaint, so much more fun than a high rise! We will go back again. Staff super friendly as well! Loved it here!

We came back to this hotel twice and will be coming again. We love the location - right on the beach, but not too close to all the crowds of the high-rise district. For restaurants and night-life, you can hop on the bus and be there in 10 minutes. The staff has always been very friendly. Wonderful grocery center is 2 min away by car or 10 min walking distance - we preferred to walk to enjoy the fresh air and exercise.

This place was perfect for our honeymoon. It was somewhat small and intimate. Location was awesome and after touring the islands beaches I this the beach here was the best.

Thank you very much for your review. We are happy you liked our mattress, beach and our restaurant. You have mentioned that we start to prepare for the restaurant on the Beach around 4pm. Indeed we do start with the preparation, however we do not use the whole beach area. Nevertheless we do want to apologize for any inconvenience.
