Lovely weeks stay

Had a great week, but if you are expecting cafes and things to do apart from cycling and looking at the view there is none. The gite is lovely well stocked though it would have been nice to have a few games like Scrabble available. There is a new house to the left of the gite which the photos in the site do not show at present, and there is no privacy on the terrace from this house . However for us it worked fine. To get to a boulangerie and the closest shop takes at least 10 minutes to get to, but the situation of the place more than makes up for it. Good internet, but no English Language television Or any different language for that matter. All in all a lovely weeks stay, but I do think that there needs to be updated photos.

Beautiful views, quite a drive

Beautiful mountain views; friendly and easy check-in and check-out with Nadia; comfortable bedrooms; nice sunny living room well-equipped kitchen. For the drive, you can just follow all the signs for "Hautacam" so navigation is easy, especially with the owners' instructions about the last step. It's helpful to have a driver who is not skittish about mountain roads with no guardrails nor a really tight turn into the house's lane.

Lovely cottage, misleading photographs

My husband and I were really looking forward to spending 2 peaceful and relaxing weeks in the cottage, having camped in the area last year. We love the pyrenees and this is a great location to explore and enjoy biking, climbing or hiking . However, overall our experience at the cottage was disappointing. The photographs on the website do not tell the true picture. Evenings barbecuing, watching the sun go down across the beautiful valley were not possible due to another cottage being built. When the new cottage is completed, the view will be better. Unfortunately, we spent 2 weeks at a building site; observing and listening to the work in progress each day. If the owners had informed us at the time of booking, and offered a discount for taking the property, this would have been only reasonable. However, this was not the case. After driving 2 days from Austria, we arrived at the property to find a huge crane and a building site directly in front of the cottage. So disappointing!

Mixed feelings. The holidays home is well equipped and well located. However in the communicatie the owner provided information too late and inaccurate. As a result once we arrived we could not check in due to above mentioned lack of accurate communication.

Un superbe séjour dans la maison de Brigitte et Carlos. La maison est trÚs chaleureuse, spacieuse, bien équipée, au grand calme avec une superbe vue sur la vallée d'Argeles Gazost. Emplacement parfait pour rayonner (cirque de Gavarnie et Pont d'Espagne à 45 mn, Lourdes à 20mn). TrÚs bonne communication avec Brigitte. Nous recommandons et reviendrons sans hésiter !

gite montagne avec super vue

Grand gĂźte trĂšs agrĂ©able et confortable . Vue magnifique . Bien situĂ© dans la rĂ©gion pour faire de belles randonnĂ©es notamment au dessus au plateau d'Hautacam . Il manque juste quelques arbres dans le jardin pour un peu d'ombre ou poser un hamac .Contrairement Ă  ce qu'on aurait pu penser (d'aprĂšs les photos) le gĂźte n'est pas totalement isolĂ© mais avec 3 maisons Ă  proximitĂ© C'est tout de mĂȘme trĂšs calme et agrĂ©able . Je recommande ce gĂźte .

Excellent sĂ©jour, magnifique chalet, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. Une vue Ă  couper le souffle ! Le bĂ©mol : je suis venue avec mon chien ( gentiment acceptĂ© par les propriĂ©taires) , le grand terrain n’est pas clĂŽturĂ©. Nous avons surveiller toutou Ă  chaque sortie, et malgrĂ© le fait qu’elle soit restĂ©e sage devant la porte fenĂȘtre, les voisins se sont plaint le dernier jour car ils avaient peur !! Les balades directement du chalet sont impossibles, route trop dangereuse il faut prendre la voiture. Mi Ă  part ce petit bĂ©mol, je recommande vivement ce lieu ! Mes enfants Ă©taient venus dĂ©couvrir la rĂ©gion, c’est chose faite, ils sont ravis et moi aussi !
