Sweet Seco Casita is a classic Taos Adobe Home

This special casita sits on the ski valley road just outside the artisan village of Arroyo Seco. Miles of charm and comfort in a pastoral setting, it's the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate at a slower pace of life.
The home is a classic Taos Adobe that has been completely refurbished with lots of love. The open kitchen and living area and its kiva fireplace and plaster walls feels so inviting. The patio doors open from the living area out to a patio and secret garden in summer, or a snowy wonderland in winter. The private areas include the spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, sitting area, and an adjacent full bathroom with tub and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped. The washer/dryer is neatly tucked into a closed opposite the bathroom. Although only 740 sq ft, the home has an open and airy feeling with lots of outdoor space and so close to Taos Ski Valley and great restaurants and shops in Arroyo Seco and El Prado.
The vacation home is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

This is one of the nicest (of approximately 100) homes we’ve ever stayed in. It’s a little tricky to find, but that’s in the nature of things.The kitchen is perfectly appointed. All appliances work swimmingly, and they’re uncomplicated. There were two sets of wi-fi networks and two sets of passwords. One set works. (Suggestion to host: Take the placard on the dining room table out; it’s info is dated.) Recyling and trash pickup advice were also given in duplicate, so we went with the easier set (Basically, “Leave it to the cleanup crew”).The location is wonderful—note that doesn’t mean “bucolic;” it’s in the high desert. An 11:00AM checkout was simple to arrange.Our dog enjoyed himself (Thanks for being pet friendly!) I really can’t say enough about good. The duplicates above are likely the result of our being in residence during a changing of the guard.
