Clean and Spacious
The apartment is very clean and bright with great lighting. The balcony gets a little late afternoon sun but is otherwise shaded. There is a grocery store just a couple blocks away and a larger one a little further at the mall. I’d recommend you buy water at the closer one as the tap water is awful. El Paso restaurant across the street has good food plus loads of restaurants a 10-20 min walk. The main beach is really a 35-40 min walk. Fabulous pool and great cantina with Scott and Hayley running it. Easy to take the shuttle to Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle hotel to and from the airport and there is a taxi stand around the corner. This is 5 min from the apartment. Main bus stop is 20 min away and it is easy to go to the north part of the island. On the flip side, the apartment is quite far up a hill so you need to have good fitness to walk up it. Although it was mainly quiet the walls are thin and it is easy to hear the neighbours. One of the neighbours is loud and comes and goes at all hours. Very annoying. The only thing I’d highly recommend is to confirm where the landlord will meet you to deliver the keys. They kept telling me at the apartment but this is a gated complex so you need to meet at the gate.
