Great cabin with access to the POA pool and games. Hiking, wine country, lakes, kayaking all within 25 minutes. We stayed in this well stocked cabin with another family. Outdoor activities every day and game nights when we got back. What a great place to stay.

Lovely Stay in the Woods

We stayed here with our three sons under the age of 11. The layout of the house was well thought out. The house was equipped with everything you would need and more. Plenty of space for a group to spread out. Comfy beds. The kids enjoyed exploring the outdoors around the home. The surrounding town had lots to do. We loved exploring Big Trees and all the river spots. Will definitely be back!

Family Getaway

The cabin was super clean which we appreciated. It was easy to check in and out of. The location of the cabin was perfect, easy to get to the lake and go to Arnold or any of the other cute towns. It was really nice to have the air conditioning to cool off with the couple days it was hot.

Cozy Little house

My wife and I stayed at Apache Pines in September for hiking and site seeing, and again in February to ski at Bear Valley. We like the house and its location and are likely to stay there in the future. Parking would be an issue in the winter if there are more than two cars. The lower level of the house has a bedroom, bath and family room which are great if traveling with kids. There is no master suite, the two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. This is a great place for a small group or family. It is nice to have laundry facilities for longer stays.

Great cozy cabin

This cabin was amazing! We arrived and the cabin was warm and welcoming. Shovels for the snow were available on arrival (which we needed because it had just snowed and we had to clear the steps to get down to the main entrance). Main living room: plenty of seating with smart tv and gas fireplace with a large table seating 8. Kitchen: fully stocked with basic items for a short stay (seasonings, oil, ice cube trays, toaster, kettle, Keurig and classic coffee maker, etc.). Even some kid cups and bowls. Bedrooms upstairs: fully stocked with blankets and pillows. Comfy beds. Downstairs: Great set up having the kids area downstairs and the other living space upstairs. However, one slight downside to that was when people walked in the living room upstairs it was rather loud downstairs but only a mild problem if you have a napping toddler, as we did. Otherwise, great space for the kids to play and some random toys (magnetiles, blocks, race cars, Wii, TONS of board games) and a TV. Plenty of blankets and sleeping bags. It has its own gas fireplace so it stayed nice and warm. Two decks (one attached to the downstairs the other off the dining room upstairs) but we stayed during the winter so they were covered in snow. Property management was very responsive and helpful with our questions prior and during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Nice cabin, walkable to Dorrington Hotel

We stayed at this cabin to attend a wedding at the Dorrington Hotel. The cabin was comfortable and very well stocked. The listing does not share the coffee maker situation, and I wasn't able to connect with the property manager to determine what type of coffee to bring. The cabin has K-cups and a Keurig, as well as a traditional filter-style coffee maker with available paper filters. Our stay was great!

Peaceful

We enjoyed our stay! Nice not to have other cabins too close. Unbelievable how quiet it was! Our only issues was a power outage (not by fault of owner), directly after check in and it was dark. Only one real candle (couple of battery operated candles), more real candles would be helpful for power outages.

Loved it!

We loved our time at Apache Pines. We have rented many cabins & they can be hit or miss. This one was a definite HIT. Kitchen was great ( I like to cook). Loved not having to bring towels/sheets. The downstairs for the teens was great. My husband turned to me at one point and said, "These are people that care." We will be back, I hope! Thank you.

Luber Day Dorrington Get Away

Could not have lucked out more with a great house and host! We really enjoyed this cabin. Lots of space for a bigger group and family. Great amenities and close to nearby activities. AC was clutch for warm weather but we loved the deck. Downstairs has a good area to stay entertained with foosball. Plenty of board games too. Overall a great experience and hope to be back at the Apache Cabin next year for Labor Day at the Luber Day Soccer Tournament!

Great and cozy and clean

Impression was great but the bathroom could use a little more care such as soap, grab bar and less slippery floor in shower. The internet was only up a few minutes at a time and a technician came out but it still didn't work. We wanted to attend a class and watch a movie but unable to.

Great mountain escape

We had a wonderful stay over the weekend. It was very hot outside and we very thankful for the cabin having a new AC system. We spent most of our time outside on the big deck enjoying the views. The Wi-Fi was a very fast and we had excellent coverage for the TV’s and our devices.

Nice place in central location

I've stayed in Arnold several times, but this was my first time staying with a smaller group. This house was great for our family plus 1 adult friend. I always appreciate having two family rooms and a room with bunk beds and this house had both. I also liked the big porch looking out into the woods. My only complaint is there were no coffee grinds, spices or oils to cook with. Typically houses provide those bare-minimums.
