My business stay in NH Hotel in Arnhem was very good. I got the room with the amazin view on the city and the river. The staff was very helphul and kind. All services was provided with no delays. I recommend this hotel for both business trip or tourist visit. During the weekend you can easily get to the Amsterdam - only 1h by train. The city center is around 20 minutes by walk, a lot of green areas and quiet district. Everything was on +, keep going!
Room was clean and standard size. No problems there. Toilet had some issues with dried floor drain which cause toilet to smell. This was easy to fix just pouring some water to drain. Shower was missing most of the water pressure which made showering fairly difficult, but not so that i would have reported it. Local restaurant had good options and good wine. Also, breakfast had lots of options and even glutenfree breads etc.
We had a great stay. The bathroom is a little outdated but clean and in fine condition. Great view, although I think the "upgrade" we got was a trick to make us feel special, as all the rooms seem to have a view.
Very nice hotel on the river Rhein. We had two rooms with beautiful view. Rooms up to all standards and very comfortable. Good parking facilities for free and easy communication to the centre of Arnhem, ca 1 km away. Close to war museum and the war cemetery.
Slightly outdated place, but still very nice. Great view of the river and the town, Pleasant rooms that could do with small repairs here and there. Bed is very good though, and bathroom functional. Some rooms have large balconies (we had 513, top floor great view). Breakfast is very good and varied. The restaurant is also fine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking in front of the hotel can be full, but across the street toward the city there is plenty space. Walking distance to the centre (15-20 minutes), easy access by car and public transport (bus 1 from train station, two stops).
We go to the NH Rijn about 3-4 times per year and it is always excellent - the food has improved markedly of late and the staff are first-rate ...special mentions for Koen, Sylvia, Melanie who seem to be able to to help with anything from car-hire to pizza.
Nice hotel. It was given 4 starts on Hotwire - I believe it deserves three. The Good * Nice and helpful staff. * Good value (even for 3 star rating) * Very nice breakfast (5 star quality) The Bad * I was not told breakfast was not part of rate (although I could have expected this). I was never told that having breakfast was expensive (over USD 20), and it showed as "upsell" on my invoice (not sure I feel good about being "upsold" - particularly as all that happened was somebody noting my room number). * Although I created chocolate smudges on my bedsheets, the sheets were not changed for 2 subsequent nights (and I forgot to ask during daytime and did not want to deal with changes at night-time). The Ugly The bathroom was freezing in my room (on top floor). Having grown up in the Netherlands I recognize this is not uncommon. That said, any hotel that strives for 4+ stars should find solution to heat bathrooms in accordance with global standards.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet, The brakfast had a lot of choise fresh and tasty. The Stuff is friendly and always disponible in case of questions. The fiew over The Rhein-River form Breakfast-Room is just grat
The building looks nice from the outside, lounge and restaurant as well. My room was designed in the sixties. Bathroom extremely cold, almost same size than the bedroom. No heating in the bathroom and ice cold tiles on the floor. Furniture seems to be very worn. Wardrobe doors hard to move. Location far away from everything. You need a car or you walk ca. 2km from the station. Breakfast Dutch average. TV and Wifi very good. Due to good alternatives close to the station, won't recommend. Especially because the price is too high for what you get.
Friendly staff with excellent room service. Very clean room with beautiful view on Rijn river. Short distance to town centre, but very quiet location. Car park under CCTV. Pets accepted and warmly welcomed.
