A nice and cost effective stay, although a little maintenance needed such as fixing the toilet roll holder! Close to shops and park for walking the dog.

This was a great spot to stay with great service and clean presentation. The only concern was the extra fee required due to having a assistant animal In tow. If they were to advertise pet friendly they could also indicate there is an extra surcharge

It was very difficut to find a phone number for the Motor Inn. I rang the Motor Inn three days before our stay to request a ground floor room due to mobility issues. When we arrived we were allocated a 1st floor room. Luckily we were able to then change to the ground floor. The room smelled of mould. The guest compendium was an absolute shambles with multiple copies of takeaway restaurant menus and outdated hotel information. The bathroom shower door was badly cracked and very mouldy. However, that said, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and we appreciated the kitchennette.

We appreciated that this property had a dog-friendly option, but the room was dark without turning on the lights and was not very sound-proof as there was noise from the car park and busy road outside. The bed was small and bouncy (expect partner disturbance if one is getting in or out of the bed). It is walkable to the nearby shops and restaurants and adequate for an overnight stopover. However, I wouldn’t be staying more than a night.

Unfortunately cannot recommend this place.

Front desk was friendly, helpful. Room was disgusting. In need of TLC but tolerable. Not accept a le was the fact room hadn't been vacuumed, dead cockroaches, sticky wine glasses. Had booked a foldout bed for kids but wasn't made upon arrival so had to request sheets & make ourselves. The bed was foul - stained, dead bugs, old food.

Unfortunately I was only able to get a total of 3 hours sleep over the 2 x night stay at this motel due to the simple fact that the bed was completely uncomfortable and hard. I spoke with several colleagues who also stayed there and they experienced the same. When raised with the manager no satisfactory response. There are other motels nearby where I have stayed before so I won’t ever be back to this establishment
