An ok stay at Hotel Volare Armenia

First off, the amount charged was slightly more than my confirmation email due to an error applying the nightly discount. It was their error & they should have honored it. We were placed in what other reviews said was the worse room. Small bathroom w no ventilation and a tiny patio facing a wall making it useless. We saw a woman using a cane who had been placed in an upstairs room - she should have been in our 1st fl room instead. We liked the location easy walk to store, cafes, restaurants, mall. 5 min walk to Parque Sucre and the tourist area leading to Bolivar Plaza. Staff was helpful showing us how to get around using local buses. Breakfast was very basic and the same each day. Not very tasty either. Had they honored their rate, Hotel Volare might have been considered an ok value, but it needs improvement in a number of areas.

Good lodging in downtown Armenia!

This is a nice hotel two blocks away from Avenida Bolivar (a closed to traffic strip for all sorts of shopping, restaurants, and bars). The inside of the hotel is modern and clean. Air conditioning and hot water is available. Best feature was that the staff will bring breakfast to your room upon request, all for free. Unknown to those who stay here is that right in front of the hotel you can catch the bus that takes you to the Jardin Botanico del Quindio. Consider staying here is you plan to be in Armenia.

Exactly what we needed

We looked for a place to overnight at Armenia well located, at a fare price, nice and clean. Well we got it all at this hotel with the addition of very friendly and helpful staff

Decent

Cute hotel with helpful staff. Good value for money if you happen to need to stau in this pary of town. There are some quirks but overall a decent stay. Three breakfast options available for choosing the night before.

Spectacular place.

Service was awesome and so friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and they have three options always. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable and AC was working fine. Shower was fine too.

Comfortable hotel

Used Armenia as a base to visit Salento and Filandia. The hotel is a short cheap taxi ride from the bus terminal and the airport. I found the hotel very comfortable. Great shower. Breakfast is a bit quirky, you have to order it the night before.
