Excellent for cycling holiday

A cycling trip to the Pyrenees. An excellent base for all the famous climbs. Excellent dinner and breakfast, good value. Relaxed and accommodating atmosphere. There is a specific bike storage room with ample space and a floor pump too! also free parking about 50 m away

Cycling holiday in Pyrénées.

Great place to stay. Really helpful owners and staff. Beautiful views of the valley from our balcony. Perfect place for our cycling up some of the great Cols which are on the doorstep.

Hotel Beau Site

Great location for exploring the local area, Lourdes, or the Pyrenees. Lovely views from the rooms. Free parking near the hotel. The couple who own the hotel are super sweet and accommodating. My only gripe is that due to slanted ceilings, we couldn't stand up straight in our bathroom -- I hit my head a number of times.

Charm, quaint, perfect!

My favorite room during our two week trip. The quintessential French experience. Beautiful and quaint. The hosts who have owned the hotel since the 1950's are responsible for the warm welcome and the charm of the place. Had a lovely dinner there, too. Highly recommend.

Hotel with charm

In heart of small village family run hotel with character. Beautiful garden and nice restaurant. Request a room in their main building with garden view. Bed and bedding are basic, but it's a good price for the quality. You need to carry your own luggage.

Great stay

Hotel Beau Site is a wonderful, old-style hotel. It is run by two people who have owned this hotel for more than forty years. Their attention to guests is obvious. The grounds are beautiful, and the room we were in had a small balcony that overlooked part of the town and the mountains.

lovely older hotel in town with great garden

This is a lovely small, older hotel in town, a little hard to find because it is on a back street. The rooms are pleasant in an old European style. The couple who own the hotel are friendly and reserved. There is a magnificent garden in the back for guests to enjoy. Rooms facing the back have a great view of the mountains.

Nice hotel- good value for location

Great stay at Beau Site. Just one night, but owner stayed up late to let us in for our late arrival. Gorgeous mountain views from the room. Large, comfortable room. Owner gave great recommendations for activities the following morning. Good location to explore Argeles-Gazost by foot. Free parking close by.

Lovely hotel and very friendly

We were staying at the Beau Site on a short skiing vacation. It is located conveniently close to shops, restaurants etc. The hotel is traditional in style and run by an elderly couple who have been there many years. He spoke good English and they were both very friendly and hospitable. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, although, the room was a little on the compact side. The only down side, was a rather limited breakfast, just croissant, bread and jams. Some cheese, ham etc. would have been appreciated. Would have also liked to have been able to get a cup of tea, at other times of the day, rather than just with breakfast. Overall though, nice little hotel.

Außergewöhnliches charmantes, kleines Hotel

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer außergewöhnlichen Unterkunft. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Ort, trotzdem ganz ruhig. Restaurants, Bars, CafĂ©s, GeschĂ€fte in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. Parkmöglichkeiten auf der Straße. Es handelt sich um ein altes Haus mit traditioneller, sehr geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß, das Bad klein, sehr gutes Bett, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Hinter dem Haus ein bezaubernder verwunschener Garten, große Terrasse. Wir haben das FrĂŒhstĂŒck gebucht und genossen, gutes französisches Angebot plus Wurst/Schinken/KĂ€se, sehr aufmerksam serviert. An einem Abend haben wir das DĂźner bestellt: es gibt auf Voranmeldung um 19:30 ein festes Menu (5 GĂ€nge), alles frisch und selbst(!) gekocht, Convenience ist hier in jeder Hinsicht ein Fremdwort. Speisenfolge, QualitĂ€t und Service hervorragend, die Weinauswahl war beschrĂ€nkt, aber okay. Das reizende betagte Inhaberpaar kĂŒmmert sich liebenswert und aufmerksam um die Belange der GĂ€ste. Wir hĂ€tten den Aufenthalt gern verlĂ€ngert, wenn das Haus nicht an den folgenden Tagen ausgebucht gewesen wĂ€re ... Ausgezeichnetes PreisleistungsverhĂ€ltnis. Warme Empfehlung!

Pas conforme aux photos mises en avant, a Ă©viter

Commençons par le positif : l’hotel est bien situĂ© dans la ville, elle mĂȘme trĂšs bien placĂ©e pour se promener dans la rĂ©gion. Les chambres sont propres. Pour le reste, cette pension vieillotte est franchement dĂ©primante et l’hĂŽtel ne tient mĂȘme pas ses engagements contractuels. La chambre que j’ai rĂ©servĂ© disposait soi disant d’un balcon privĂ© (comme reconfirmĂ© explicitement sur ma rĂ©servation). Mais nous avions pour vue l’immeuble d’en face, Ă  moins de 3m de nos fenĂȘtres. Aucune intimitĂ©, mĂȘme pas un bout de ciel... la chambre Ă©tait donc trĂšs sombre. Mais aussi petite. Et la salle de bains d’un autre Ăąge (cf photo). Bref, tout l’inverse de ce que l’hotel met en avant sur hĂŽtels.com. Bien qu’ayant rĂ©servĂ© pour 3 nuits, on ne nous a pas laissĂ© changer de chambre lorsque nous avons indiquĂ© qu’elle ne correspondait pas Ă  nos attentes. Il y avait dans notre chambre Ă©tait une forte odeur de renfermĂ© mĂȘme en ouvrant les fenĂȘtres plusieurs h par jour. Pour finir, l’insonorisation est dĂ©sastreuse. Il y a le bruit de la rue. Puis celui de la sonnerie qui retentit automatiquement Ă  chaque fois que quelqu’un entre ou sort de la pension (trĂšs souvent donc). Ensuite celui des gens qui passent dans le couloir (dont les pas sont fidĂšlement retranscrits par le plancher jusque dans votre oreiller). Enfin celui des chambres alentours. WiFi alĂ©atoire. Certains trouvent peut ĂȘtre un charme Ă  cette maison d’un autre temps. Nous Ă©tions pour notre part soulagĂ©s de quitter ce lieu oppressant
