In the heart of Arezzo, 50 meters from the house museum of Giorgio Vasari, is the birthplace of Pietro Aretino.
The holiday home is located on the first floor of this completely restored building, equipped with every comfort and facility. The house consists of 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a washing machine, a large relaxation area with 2 double sofa beds and a large living room with a large full kitchen and a dining area. maximum capacity 8 people. On the same floor there is a private and completely green roof garden of about 300 square meters. The best experience is to have breakfast barefoot on the large reserved lawn and relax in the cool of the interiors. The large kitchen with dining area guarantees an excellent opportunity to organize lunches and dinners with friends in great fun and the living room equipped with soft sofas that transform into two double beds allow you to rest in complete tranquility. There is free WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher.

The Heart and Soul of Arezzo

This apartment is an easy walk (15 minutes for me with my bags) from the train station, and is in an ancient neighborhood isolated from tourist traffic.It is very "livable" and well appointed; the beds are comfortable, the kitchen has all you need for cooking. The hosts are the best that I have ever met through a VRBO - friendly and welcoming, and a font of knowledge of the town and its history. The garden is an absolute delight. Fabulous restaurants are only one or two blocks away. My favorite place in all of Italy.

This apartment is great for enjoying the old town Arezzo. It's clean and comfortable, bright, and the backyard is a welcome plus. Sara was thoughtful and helpful and helped make our stay enjoyable.

Absolutely Wonderful Time!

We had an absolutely amazing time from beginning to end! Sara was an incredible host. She met us at the property, helped get us acclimated and told us about some of the in places of Arezzo. They were incredibly helpful! She was very responsive and available if needed and we could not have picked a better place to stay! The home was very neat, clean and stocked full of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay! A glorious home base to explore Arezzo and beyond!

We spent 7 nights in Sara’s beautifully furnished, warm, inviting, spacious apartment, the Aretino, & are beyond happy & longing to return! Immediately responsive to the booking, Sara met us at the train, oriented us to the apartment, & was available yet gave us privacy. The Aretino is ideally situated in the historic center of Arezzo on a quiet street near Casa Vasari, in easy walking distance to every single historic site, train station & for gorgeous hikes into the countryside (check out the Vasari Aqueduct). So much more than what you see in the photos, it is extraordinarily clean, well laid-out, with amazing space to move around, and the rooms are lovely & tastefully furnished. The kitchen is modern, fully equipped for cooking, coffee/tea makers etc, & dishwasher. The backyard garden is simply beautiful, inviting & a serene private space to relax. We used one of the bedrooms & the bed was very comfortable with lovely linens & cozy comforters. It was peaceful & quiet. Towels, sheets, extra blankets & pillows were abundant & in excellent condition. In the bathrooms, hot water was flowing, there are 2 showers, a hair dryer and an easy-to-use clothes washer (w/separate drying rack). Despite rain, we had the absolute best time thanks to our home base. We can’t say enough about Sara and how she has taken great care & attention to create this perfect vacation home! Beautifully done, so very grateful, thank you and we hope to see you again, Sarah!
