Traditional French beach hotel.

Roc hotel was a nice, traditional French beach hotel. It was very clean and comfortable but not elegant. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The spoke good English

Would stay here again.

Hotel rooms were a bit dated but clean and comfortable and had a great little balcony with a small table and chairs. Not so near the shopping area but that didn't bother us as we wanted easy access to the beach and sea front restaurants and this was perfect within a 2 minute walk. We managed to park a few streets away for free otherwise parking would have been expensive so worth looking out for. Once we got our bearings the hotel was easy to find and very easy access from the main road in and out of the town.

The location was great and the room was really clean and seemed newly renovated. The only bad thing was that I booked a twin room, got a double bed AND on top if that, the smallest double bed I have ever experienced. Me and my wife slept very bad for the two nights that we stayed in Arcachon

Great value!

Problem with hot water in the morning but they give us an excellent free breakfast. All in all I was very happily well fed albeit a bit smelly!

Basic No-frills Hotel With Excellent Location

This is just about perfect if you are looking for a simple, and relatively inexpensive, base to enjoy the beaches and restaurants of Arcachon. In terms of location, it's an easy two-minute-walk to the railway station and you simply have to walk through a passageway and you are on the beach. The decor in the rooms is a bit dated, but there is plenty of storage space. New towels were provided every day, but odd things were always forgotten when the room was cleaned. The staff on reception were friendly and booked restaurants for us.

Clean but Small Balcony

Just one block away from the beach - this hotel is in an ideal location. The interior is clean but a little outdated in style. Our room had a tiny balcony that could fit maybe three people standing very close together. Altogether, this hotel was very clean and in a great beach community - just across the street from the casino.

Établissement 3 Ă©toiles mais je cherche encore pourquoi cet hĂŽtel Ă  des Ă©toiles. L’ensemble est vieillot, mĂȘme les chambres
moquettes datant des annĂ©es 70. L’émaille de la baignoire je n’en parle mĂȘme pas. TrĂšs mauvais Ă©tat. Accueil du personnel laisse Ă  dĂ©sirer. Pourrait ĂȘtre plus aimable. Le seul point positif de cet hĂŽtel est sa localisation.
