Host was very responsive. Good location and comfortable beds. Great set up for families, even had a baby gate for the top of the stairs. Short walk through the neighborhood to the stairs that take you down to the ocean. Only downside (hence the 4 stars) was some ants in the house and the bbq did not work properly. There was ant spray but with a baby and a toddler, we chose not to use it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The house was great EXCEPT for the rather steep, bare wood stairs leading from the front entrance up to the kitchen. This was difficult as we are senior citizens, and carrying all of our stuff up those stairs was a challenge! Even our older dog couldn't manage them. She ended up staying down by the front door the entire time we were there. AND renters should also be aware that the beach IS very nearby but getting there also involves many steps up and down a bluff...or you can pay 9 and drive down to the beach.

The house is nice, it is equipped with everything you will need. Great area to stay! Short walk to the beach. Lots of food and shopping nearby. You can see the ocean from the patio.The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

A Rose by any other name...

Wonderful house, well furnished and clean, a short drive to just about anywhere you'd want to go, and a mere 5 minute walk to the beach down a lovely well maintained path. Mark was very responsive to any questions we had, we'd recommend the "Rose" to anyone!
