After booking, 3 weeks prior to our visit, we noticed that we booked for the wrong date (actual visit would be a day later). Within 45 minutes after booking we contacted Expedia, who in turn contacted the hotel to change the date, but Mantasaly would not except our change for a day later, eventhough there were rooms available. We had to pay the full amount for the room (including a cancellation insurance we included) eventhough we couldn’t stay there. We ended up staying in the Nature Lodge in Joffreville, on top of the Amber Mountain. It was beautiful and would definitely stay there again!

Amazing place!!

Amazing resort, secluded, on the beach , with amazing hosts. They are building a great pool & more facilities at the moment, which I hope I ll have the chance to return and see all this ! The rooms are big, clean and beautiful, feels private. The common area is nice , I totally recommend this place. We went on low season, so it was quiet, and no kite surfing, look at the activity you want to do , and then you can select which month is best. They offer transport for cost$$ and some tours, we did emeralk sea, which is a must do!! The hotel is hard access, ensure you hire your own or a taxi 4X4 - Sandy road around this place, feasible in normal taxi, but longer, and you might need to push a little ;) aour driver Jean, which we found at airport, was amazing !

Lovely place!

Such a lovely place, fronting the beach and within a quiet location. The staff is really friendly and ready to listen guests' requests. Rooms are cosy and very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Das Hotel ist mit hochwertigen Materialien gebaut. Solarstrom und warmes Wasser gibt es rund um die Uhr. Leider sind die Bungalows ( wahrscheinlich wegen des Windes) quer zum Strand ausgerichtet und haben deshalb nur einen eingeschränkten, manche nur einen sehr eingeschränkten Meerblick. Der Strand eignet sich kaum zum Baden, da das Wasser sehr flach und voller Algen ist. Der Swimmingpool ist schön. Leider liegt er vom Meer abgewendet. Die Mahlzeiten sind sehr gut, nicht ganz billig und könnten etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Das allerbeste sind die sehr freundlichen und sehr herzlichen Mitarbeiten.
