This was our first time away trip to Turkey and can honestly say this was more than we could of hoped for. Great courses, great service and we will be back. Massive thank you to Mustafa Ertetin and all the bar staff keeping us topped up with Bourbon:-). From start to finish we were looked after from exceptional golf course to customer service. Massive thank you to all.
We were extremely sad to leave this fantastic hotel even though we stayed 2 weeks there. We just loved it there! The facilities are great, the territory is big and maintained clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Especially we want to thank F&B and animation department. They do know how to provide outstanding customer service. Food is really good, great variety of dishes. As for the accommodation our room was spacious and quiet overlooking beautiful Kempinski hotel and green area. At the very beginning we could not open the balcony door and informed reception. To our surprise it was fixed straight away. Moreover, the next day we were offered to change the room due to inconveniences with the door. The hotel is great for families with small children so be prepared for kids around. We did not mind that. Overall, we had a lovely time and are planning to come back in September. Thank you so much Sirene Belek team for making these 2 weeks unforgettable, keep the spirit of excellence!
A group of 10 UK golfers stayed here in May 2017. We had a fantastic time, staying 7 nights and between the group we played 7 days golf! The hotel is great, the rooms are spacious and kept clean, the facilities are really good, the food was very nice and the staff on the whole were excellent (shout out to Mustafa and Kubra in the reception bar). We did find the hotel was very quiet, occupancy couldn't have been more than 40%, consisting of mainly Russian families and a number of fellow golfing groups. This meant there was always plenty of room around the pool and bars, and we were always able to find large tables available in the main restaurant. The season had yet to start fully, so some facilities had yet to open e.g. the pool slides, some of the restaurants, but nothing that really reflected poorly on our trip. A few things that could be improved; 1) there are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, you have to head to the bar / restaurants to get it 2) the maid responsible for our block of rooms was very rude / pushy, seeking more tips than people were giving instead of being grateful for what was offered, even to the point of following us to the elevator trying to extract more money from my room mate! 3) one of the group left his cigarettes and lighter at the bar table, and when he returned less than 2 minutes later to retrieve them, they had mysteriously disappeared and the staff claimed no knowledge of their whereabouts even though it was clear that there was nobody else around who could have taken them. It was not the items themselves that annoyed us, it was the fact that they were clearly pocketed by staff and we were being lied to 4) a normal travellers bug bear, but when you arrive on an evening flight at gone 11 pm, why do we have to pay extra to retain a room till 6pm, €50, when given the clear low occupancy you would imagine all of our rooms could have been extended until 7/8 pm free of charge? 5) there was plenty of food choice, but personally I would have liked to have seen more fruit on offer e.g, melon, and better quality cereals On the plus side; 1) the large rooms were great, leaving us plenty of room to keep out golf clubs with us at all times rather than having to be stored away 2) the hotel provides free bus shuttles to several local courses (Pasha / Sultan / National) and the drivers were very helpful 3) the food was plentiful, of great quality with lots of choices, nobody in our group went hungry and we certainly gained a few pounds during our stay! 4) the beach was really nice, especially the hotel's Pier which we found ourselves the only visitors of during the early evening with a cooling breeze off the sea 5) the pools are really nice, and everywhere was kept very clean by the staff, who always seemed to be on hand to take away glasses, empty ash trays and get us more drinks almost immediately, and at times even before we had finished 6) we found the weather projections offered by the Met Office app to be 90% inaccurate, with storms and rain forecast for most days that never materialised. Don't be put off by the forecasts, in our experience maybe there were storms / rain over the nearby mountains, but certainly not at the hotel / golf courses bar perhaps a 2 hour window on 1 day where it got quite blustery and there were some small showers Golf specifically, we played twice on the Sultan / Pasha, and once on the National, the Carya, and the Lykia Links. Each course we found were in excellent condition, and offering a really good challenge to all the golfers in our group (ranging from 8-24 h/c). We played the Carya to take advantage of the floodlight golf, however although it was a novelty we all agreed that actually the course was fantastic enough as it was to be played during the day, and the floodlights detracted from the beauty. We teed off at 5pm, the latest time offered, yet the lights did not come on until 8:10pm and we were followed by the Marshall who was turning the lights off as we finished each hole, the clubhouse was shut by the time our last group finished at around 10:30pm, and we were hurried away from the course rather than being able to enjoy a beer or two as we did at every other course we played. Next year we will go for a mid morning tee time and enjoy the beautiful holes and surroundings to the fullest, without the floodlight distraction. We will also look to include several courses which we didn't get to play this time around. Overall we couldn't find anything material to fault, and found Turkey to offer the perfect golfing break, with a great selection of courses and a fantastic hotel and facilities to compliment the trip. We will most definitely be returning next year, possibly to this same hotel and with a mixture of the same and some new courses.
This was our 5th visit golfing in Belek. On each occasion we have stayed at the Sirene Hotel and every time it gets better and better. Quality hotel. Love this place, so relaxing with an amazing spa, tremendous sports facilities and pool areas. Restaurants and bar areas are awesome. The cocktail bar on the Pier is cracking. The food is always great quality with incredible choice and the entertainment each night is now up to the same standard as the rest of the facilities. If ur a golfer, the proximity of this hotel to the best course in Turkey, The Sultan just makes it even better.
The hotel and facilities met my expectations. It was very quite until 1st may when occupancy significantly increased. It was obvious on arrival that the hotel was only around 25% full however we still received a courteous welcome and good levels of service. Room. A spacious twin room with a seating area and balcony in the main block on 4th floor with a balcony view over the adjacent Hotel Kompinski. It was generally quiet and was cleaned daily to expected standards. I didnt use the air con. Dining. The main buffet options had a bias toward Eastern Europe which was understandable as that is where most of their guest come from. That said, there was enough variety that I had no difficulty in choosing a dish. As a Muslim country there were no pork products so I did miss the bacon at breakfast and ham at lunchtime. The main buffet restaurant was spacious enough, with more food stations and seating areas used as the guest numbers increased. The one area for improvement of buffet - Too often for a hotel of this standard the supposed hot dishes in servers was luke warm and not always replenished as quickly as they should. Lunch was served at the outside bar toward beach and there was a patisserie open (main building) late in afternoon for those that wanted tea and cake. There were three other resturants that were not open when we were there. Two in main building and one by the Olympic pool. Facilities. I only used the free form pool by the main building so cant pass on any experience of the other pools, gym, kids club, tennis courts etc. Bars. We primarily used the Lobby and pool bars. The service standards were variable at times dependant upon if the server could understand basic english or not. On one occasion I got puzzled looks when asking for a beer until I read the pump and asked for a birra. On another couple of occasions when asking for a gin and tonic, we got a tonic water in one glass and gin in another ?? A significant number of trainees appeared on 1st May wearing pristine polo shirts bearing the hotel brand, name badges and "Trainee" badges. Some of these looked very young but their language skills were better than some of the full time staff. Evening Entertainment was outdoors so you needed a coat of cover for warmth but it was on the whole quite good. The dancing fountain was well worth a watch every evening. Golf. It was a mere 5 mins from Hotel to the Antalya golf course. As with most courses it was busier in mornings right up to about 12 then started to get quiet. When ready to come back the shop would call hotel on your behalf. The two golf courses were very well maintained and a pleasure to play on. Recommend buying a bag of lake balls at E10 for 15 if you are a mid to high handicap player :-) The clubhouse changing rooms had showers with towels and soap for use. The practice area had free balls with driving, chipping and greens to have a go at. Buggies were E30 and trolleys E5.
Good service, great staff and great location. Most amenities and entertainment closed until May 1st so a little disappointing. Spa quite expensive but therapies very VERY good. Language a small barrier unless you are Russian, Dutch or German.but staff try hard to please. I used the laundry service which was very reasonable in price but same day service as standard...you don't get that cheap in the UK. There is nothing near, so if you come out of season, be prepared to entertain yourselves. We will be returning next year but will be looking at mid/end May to get more facilities available.
Rooms good as you would expect.most facilities closed, although the beach restaurant was opened on our final day! We were a group of 16 golfers and only half the daytime was spent at the hotel. I think that our biggest disappointment was the quality/quantity of the food. I must say that some meals were good and an improvement on the previous year in the main restaurant. We did miss the beach restaurant howevwhere the food was good and of course in the open. The staff were pleasant and in the main, smiling.
Very nice and large clean rooms, hotel was very fast at check in by very friendly staff. Hotel needs a bit off an upgrade but for the money we paid it was fantastic. All the staff are really friendly and very helpful
A great hotel, 24 hours all inclusive, staff could not be more helpful, food was great too. It's a pity that people are avoiding Turkey, all I can say is that terrorism can occur anywhere, even London just last week. The golf courses Sultan and Pasha are really good too, were in great condition, the whole holiday was superb. Please don't let the bad guys win by not going to places like Turkey.
It was amazing and everybody's there were helpful and the room very clean the food is delicious and I advice by this hotel I will visit again next year just one thing i upset that the receptionist was awful
