The location of this hotel is perfect in old Antalya - very close to the port and plenty of food places within walking distance. The overall look of the place is beautiful and well maintained. The pool was clean and pool towels provided. Breakfast included buffet style plenty of choice. Only downfall was the AC wasn't working properly however we didn't mention it to the hotel to be rectified. All in all I would strongly recommend staying at this hotel
The staff were great at this hotel, and made our stay a very enjoyable experience. I had a problem with a car rental company who were associated with the hotel, and the guy wanted to get the police involved. Mehmet, who worked at reception sorted the whole thing out and assured me that they wouldn't be working with the rental company again. Mehmet was genuinely more upset about the whole ordeal than I was. Great guys, all of them. The hotel is absolutely beautiful as well and set in a great location. 10/10.
We booked this hotel as our flight wasn't scheduled to land till 23:00 and our resort was a 2 hour drive so spending a single night in Antalya made sense. Looking at Google maps I figured about a 15/20 minute drive from the airport - oh my. Fortunately I'd got some free SatNav software with pre-downloaded maps of Turkey, even then it was a nightmare. Once we got into the general area it was directing us down barriered side roads, eventually biting the bullet I went through one of these barriers and took a ticket. we were now in what must pass for Antalya Old Town, it is beautiful but beware if you're driving, these roads are not built for cars, we were going down streets that needed both wing mirrors folding in, Lord know what we'd have done if something had been coming the other way. Anyway 90 minutes or so after leaving the airport we got there about 01:00. The staff were great, we were led to a gated yard to park the car, checking in and got our heads down. Next morning we were refreshed and able to take stock. The room was quaint, everything needed for a one night stay, breakfast was simply but enjoyable. We asked about the barrier and ticket, the receptionist said he'd phone ahead and we'd be let out free of charge. The area is beautiful and would be well worth further investigation. The hotel is cracking value, the money saved not having that first night at the resort and not having transfers paid for the hire car. As a base to explore the Old Town it's ideal and thoroughly recommended.
I stayed at this hotel for a total of 5 nights at two different times, once in a standard room and once in a deluxe room. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, had working air conditioners and were very nice to stay in. The hotel is in an amazing location right in the middle of the old town, we did get lost a few times trying to find the hotel but that was part of the fun of the area!. Breakfast was good, typical Turkish breakfast with bread, cheese, olives, eggs, vegetables and sometimes some melon with good tea and coffee. I would absolutely stay here again on a return trip to Antalya.
We had a wonderful stay at Mediterra Art Hotel. The entrance, restaurant and rooms all surround an inner court yard with one rather large indigenous tree. A few cute birds are living there and are quite entertaining! Our room was a perfect blend of traditional and comfortable. The staff was super friendly!! And the breakfast every morning was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.
Amazing hotel placed in the old town, staff is very helpful and friendly. Room is clean and has authentic ottoman feel. The whole hotel has very authentic feel. This is for people who prefer to experience the culture and tradition of Antalya over glamour 5* hotel.
We stayed 3 nights. Room smaller than expected. Swimming pool right next to dining area - does not make for pleasant bathing. Breakfast pretty bad. Possibly the worst I have had in Turkey (ever). Last morning we wanted to eat at breakfast starting time as we were waiting for a transfer but no breakfast was available. Breakfast girl arrived an hour late - perhaps an early appointment with her tattooist. The staff in general always available and ready to speak to their friends or check their cell phones. The staff is letting this hotel down.
our room was nice ,clean bit noisy at night, if you like a early night ,staff pleasant staff.Thay could do with more sun loungers throw the day for people to relax , It has a nice pool , The restaurant is not inviting , dressed well no info about food
The reception was very nice on the day we arrived. They helped us about our parking problem of our rental car. This is a huge deal considering the location: Kaleici is literally the inside of the old castle of the city where you can barely maneuver the car. Their location was perfect for us! It is in the middle of the old city of Antalya. However, it went downwards from that moment on... The wifi is one of the worst! Logging into their system is complicated and the quality of the connection and speed is from 20th century! I swear my first 56k modem was faster! The choices for breakfast is dull. I have been many hotels in Turkey, even the "lower" profile hotels have so much local tastes and delicacies in their breakfast options. Our expectations were higher. The receptionist was having a bad week, I think. He seemed indifferent to our questions, not acknowledging my greetings from time to time even he was not busy. They use their middle yard as a restaurant in the evenings and night times. As I write this review, it is our last night at the hotel and at the moment it is 22:20... Tomorrow morning we have a flight, but there is a very loud "drinking music" is playing in the middle yard. It will be a long day for us... If I come to Antalya again, I will not stay here.
Daytime reception manager was unbelievably rude. Bathrooms by the pool filthy! Room was smaller than advertised. Shower leaked all over the floor Nightly 4:30 am alarm malfunctions Lock and key system extreme Fire hazard. Overpriced and misadvertised. Upon arriving the daytime reception manager was unbelievably rude. We had just travelled 12 hours and asked if it was possible for an early check in. We were told they had a room but to check in early we would have to pay more than the daily rate! After explaining our situation he wouldn't budge, showed no compassion, customer service or understanding or interest is us as guests and pretty much dared us to write a negative review ( here it is!!!) After a fuss he finally agreed to let us check in at 1pm. We waited 5 hours and came back to the hotel asking again to check in and the manager would not let us enter citing their 2 pm check in policy even though he admitted a room was available. My partner and I have been travelling for 9 months now and have been treated like this in any of our more cheaper hotel stays ( we thought we would splurge here but what a mistake that was!) The room was much smaller than advertised, in fact it was a completely different room than shown in the picture but after our interaction with the manager we thought we'd save ourselves the aggravation of dealing with him. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, the windows were stuck and couldn't close and the most frightening was the lock and power system. You had to lock the room from the inside with a key that you needed to put in the wall socket for electricity. God forbid there ever is a fire at night because all the residents would likely burn to death in their rooms before being able to unlock their doors. We tried to get out during their nightly 4:30 am alarms ( happened every night we stayed there) and couldn't unlock the door in the dark! All in all an overpriced horrendous experience and wouldn't recommend this hotel to our worst enemies.
