I am always reluctant to write a poor review, but in this case, I feel I must save fellow travellers from a bad experience. Rooms - Ours was not like the pictures on their website. It was extremely small. Ours contained a large double bed (that was comfortable) and a very small wardrobe. There was one drawer that contained the tv remote and wouldn't hold much else. We had to leave our things in the suitcases. There was simply nowhere to put anything. The bathroom however, had a fairly large cabinet so that helped. The bathroom was adequate but had seen better days. The hair dryer was broken. Breakfast - I have been to Turkey many times and know what to expect. By comparison, this was disappointing. When we entered the area, there was no greeting. We were left to work it out ourselves. There is a selection of reasonable salads with meat and cheese and a few hot choices that varied each day and some decent bread. However, the coffee machine was a tiny thing like you might have in your own home and was usually empty. The area was extremely dirty. The shelves where food was offered were revolting. The floor and furniture is painted white and showed no evidence of maintenance (many of the floor boards are rotting). The floor was filthy. The high chairs that were actually being used were appalling. I have added pictures so please judge for yourself. To be fair to the staff here, when I pointed out some specific dirty areas, an attempt was made to clean them, but it really needs a proper deep clean. Location - Fantastic. The view from the room and from the bathing areas was amazing. The breakfast area has a beautiful view. The hotel is out on the peninsula but a half hourly dolmus takes you into Kas (3 TL) and this runs at least until midnight in high season. There are a lot of steps at this hotel and it is not suitable for anyone with limited mobility. I counted 144 to the bathing area. The view makes up for this. Reception - reception staff were polite and fairly helpful, but when I relayed some of my complaints, they had nothing to say. Clearly, they had heard it all before. Overall - This hotel needs some serious maintenance. Some of the wooden platforms near the bathing area and the bar have rotted badly and look unsafe. It needs a deep clean throughout. They need to stop playing loud disco music that has dodgy lyrics so that you think 5 teenagers in a Vauxhall Corsa have pulled up behind you. I cannot understand why there are so many 5 star reviews. I have stayed at several Turkish hotels, mostly cheaper than this, such as Hotel Mavilim and Hotel Cachet and they have been far better.
Kas is beautiful but the hotel was quite disappointing in terms of cleanness, service and the meals. The staff was too inexperienced and they were always scrambling around. Even check-in was very problematic, they couldn't get the room ready till 3 pm. They also seem to be playing loud disco music, and sometimes racing with the next door hotel on who can play louder!! When I called the owner about this, he accepted that this was an issue, but it happened again. We only stayed for 3 nights, which was the maximum we could handle. The hotel manager was very defensive to any feedback too!
The location is perfect in Cukurbag peninsula with clear turquise sea. Staff is very helpful, owner of the place takes care personally. Amazing view with 5 min. drive to the center of Kaş. Don't miss the daily boat trips to Kekova.
My opinion reflects a person view who expects friendly staffs, stunning view feed with Mediterranean sun, clean facilities. Club capa covers all expectations of me. Especially young waitress lwas very warm and helpful.I would like to share my opinion in re amenities but the beach if i were stay there. I spent a day at the beach and it was very promising to decide to stay here for next year
Cascading down the picturesque slopes of the Çukurbağ Peninsula, Club Çapa has the idyllic location, protected from the wind, with a grand view of the majestic mountain ranges in the distance, and with azure, crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea at its doorstep - you can jump right in! A short shuttle ride from the quaint Kaş city center makes Club Çapa a perfect place for a relaxing holiday away from hustle and bustle, yet close to all the cultural and historic sites. The hotel owner was exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs. The chef is great - the food at Club Çapa beats the best restaurants along the coast.
We were here in September 2016, and simply adored the location, Even though a bit pricey, Club Çapa certainly deserves the reputation, The owner, Mehmet Çapa is a very attentive, friendly and civil person, with an impressive family history. He lives next to the hotel and makes sure that his guests are well treated and that things run smooth. A kind and thoughtful owner, he has made a wonderful boutique-hotel. One can see that he treats his employees very well, the hotel beach has a blue flag and all the rooms have a sea view, with no other buildings in sight, apart from on the shore. The buffet is delicious, and Turkish cuisine is a real treat!
The rooms and the furniture needs to be renewed. We stayed there last year . But the money you spent is not worth for this hotel. It has a very nice sea but the hotel needs to be renewed. The breakfast area was dirty.
This hotel was recommended so we decided to pay the premium to go there but it was a total disappointment. The room was so tiny that even the rooms in London or Paris are bigger. It was not possible to move around without jumping over luggage. The bed squeaked with every turn, and it took 30 minutes for a/c to cool that tiny room. The A/C also right above the bed so you wake up stiff from the blow all night long. Many items were out by the time we got to the breakfast. The wifi did not really work. We said, you only live once, and left early even though they did not refund the rest of our stay. The only nice part is the location of the hotel.
We (husband and i) stayed in this hotel for just 2 nights (Trust me not enough!). Its location and decoration, which is completely white, creates a beautiful romantic and warm atmosphere. Its clean, the staff is very friendly (from owner till housekeepers) and everyone speaks english! The hotel is provided by 2 swimming-pools and a private "beach". Don't expect a real beach where you put your feet into the sand but its more like a pier where you can jump in to the water or just use the stairs. They do have the 'blue flag' so its very save to swim. We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples but i wouldn't recommend it to families with little children. Like toddlers who would love to walk and run around. Since this hotel is located at a hill and it doesn't have a elevator, but only stairs, or beach its simply not save for the little ones. Anyway.. We loved our stay and would love to come back again. They say Paris is the city of love but if you ask me it's Kaş with Club Çapa as your place to stay, relax, reload and love again. P.s: our compliments to the bartender at the beach-bar who makes the best cocktails ever!!
Last year we have visited Club Capa for our honeymoon. We had a really great time! The location of hotel is perfect, right next to the bay and there was a privat hotel's beach, sea is amazing! Room was clean and comfortable, we had a breathtaking view from our window. The food was good, stuff was very smiling and helpful. So im surely recommending this place for romantic vacation, we will definetely come back this year with my husband!
