I enjoyed my stay at Casa Maria as it was so close to a fantastic food and shopping spot located in a popular spot, Old Town across Hadrians Gate. I liked the rooms as they were clean and the bedding was super comfy, however, the toilet is located directly above bedroom 2 which meant the smell all lingered in that bedroom. The bathroom also had no window which meant the smell was there 24/7 with no escape and it meant the room was boiling hot - uncomfortably hot! The room itself had lovely AC and was plenty of space for a family of 4 but it could've been so much more enjoyable if it wasn't for the bathroom situation! I think the hotel should also invest in a lift as carrying the little one, shopping and the pushchair up the stairs in 42⁰ wasn't great. The staff were wonderful and very helpful - extremely prompt with queries via whatsapp. I overall, really enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back if the bathroom situation changed and if there was a lift. Thank you.

6/10 Okay

I didn’t use the room because of the latest review about the possible bed bug / pest issue infestation in the same room (101) they assigned to me. I don’t want to take the risk. I stayed in different hotel. Also, if I know that this is located in the basement I will not book it. It is a significant information that they should mention in the description of the room. Though the property assured me that there is no bed bug / pest. So stay at your own risk.

Excellent location. Good shower, good water pressure. Furniture and decor a bit old, but it didn't bother us. Some ambient noise can be heard in the rooms, but it's understandable considering the location.

Great stay!

We got in late and our host still greeted us and welcomed us into the hotel! Great accommodations and a very comfortable stay. We had breakfast one morning it was a fantastic, traditional Turkish breakfast and so filling. Even though there is a lot of traffic outside the noise in the room was minimal! Highly recommended staying here!!

10/10 accommodation and stay

The stay at Casa Maria was amazing. Yigits hospitality was over and beyond and provided an excellent service. The room was modern and was always kept to the highest standard by the cleaner with fresh towels and supplies being restocked daily. The hotel has a beautiful garden/cafe area which is accessible 24/7 It is also located in an excellent location being directly in the centre of old town. I recommend staying here, and will definitely be returning
