If you are looking for a hotel in Antalya that is reasonably priced in a great location look no further. Great staff, a very good breakfast, good rooms and a private pool! Best of all, there were four cats that the staff keep as pets, which the kids loved to play with! Highly recommended.
Great hotel, very clean and lovely service. I would visit again. If you want to be in the heart of the old town and experience culture this is the perfect hotel. Lovely friendly staff. thank you for a great holiday 😊
Argos is located in the heart of Antalya's old town. The service at the hotel was excellent and our room very big and comfy. Pool area was nice and it was nice to have breakfast outside. Only con is that due to the location there was a lot of noise coming from outside at night. So bring your earplugs especially if you travel during the weekend. Other than that, we loved the place!
The hotel is situated in a very good location - old city of Antalya. Nearby there are plenty of restaurant and bars, also shops. It is surrounded by old houses. Its good for those who want to explore city and its night life. Even from the airport or bus station of Antalya you may easy get by tram. Hotel rooms are clean and well furnished. There is tv, mini fridge, free wifi. In the morning was served traditional turkish breakfast open buffet style. It has also swimming pool with some sunbeds beside. The hotel reception is also very helpful. For those who might come by car there is parking space near the hotel.
When you arrive this place looks like it is going to be a bit special. The location in the Old Town is great. You are between the harbour and the city centre. There is less to offer when you walk upstairs. The lights turn on as you move to your room. Unfortunately not all of them do. The lights in the room were dull and the main one was missing. The rooms could do with a spruce up as they are a little tired. The room was well heated which was a blessing and the shower was ok. Wifi was good and worked in the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
This is a very small but beautiful hotel right in the heart of the Old Town (Kaleici). It has a great location and is a short walk from all amenities. If you are looking for a big all singing, all dancing hotels with an ice rink, a cinema and a waterpark, then this isn't for you. It has about 20 rooms and the pool is quite small. As we only speak English we found Antalya to be fairly difficult to be understood but the staff here were great, particularly Ogur who helped with any issues. One bonus here is that air conditioning is free. Have found that it is payable in addition to your room price at every other hotel I have stayed at in Turkey. Breakfast was a basic buffet style which is pretty much standard in Turkey. A very peaceful and relaxing stay. Would return.
Adorable small hotel in the center of The old city of Kaleichi. At the time of our visit there were only few hotel guests. We arrived at night time and received our room immeadiatelly. Our room was "outside" and downstairs at the small hotel pool. The room was standard size room with a double bed and a bathroom. It was really conveniant to have our own door as we tend to head up to town early in the morning and came back late at night. Only downside was, that the water needed to run for awhile, before we got warm water in the shower. We had used to have breakfast at 8 am and meal at 5 pm. Food was good and we really enjoyed our stay. There were not many people at the pool, so we were not disturbed at the morning. Also we had earplugs for just in case. Music and sounds from the nightlife were hearable as we sat at the poolside in evening, but the sounds did not come to our room.
Great location in old town with nicely decorated, clean rooms. Pool was closed in March during my stay. They had just installed new air conditioning and heating units, so getting a comfortable temperature for sleeping was easy. Don't count on getting here by car. It's a tight squeeze to get in here, and there's very limited parking.
The Hotel is situated in the center of the beautiful old town of Antalya. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Most of the rooms are quite small but very clean with nice new furniture. Beds have really good mattrasses. Bathroom is in your room and the showers are very hot. There is a big sweet and salty turkish breakfast buffet, you can sit inside or outside. The pool area is really beautiful and very calm during the day. Restaurants and nightlife are close by, so you can hear some music and at night you might need ear-plugs for sleeping. The Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the pittoresque old habour and of most of all other interesting places of the old town. I would definitely come back to stay at Argos when I come back to Antalya.
This hotel was booked as a part of a package deal through our travel agent in Istanbul. We were only staying Antalya for 1 day and 1 night, as a stop-over before going to Olympos. Thank goodness it was only for 1 night. When we arrived, it was around 8:30 am. The man at the front desk told us we could still have breakfast, which sounded great because we were starving. An employee took our bags and showed us to our room. The room was quite small, and was facing the main street. The bathroom was also small. We didn't think too much of it, since we were only staying the night. We went down for breakfast (around 9am) to find...nothing. We were told breakfast was from 7am to 10am, but it looked like a tornado had blown through the "buffet." There were sparse remnants of vegetables, bread, cracked boiled eggs (looked like someone started to shell them and changed their minds and put them back), uncovered yogurt, and more....with swarms of flies happily feeding. Everything was left uncovered even though it was 42 degrees celsius. But here's the real kicker: the staff (including the man who had checked us in) were all sitting at a table with the last plates of edible food, happily munching away without a care in the world. They saw us walking around the buffet, trying to concoct any sort of semblance of a breakfast from the scraps, and they said nothing. (The next morning, we got down to breakfast even earlier, and lo and behold - the same scene!) We gave up, grabbed a cappuccino from the coffee maker (the best thing at the buffet) and sat outside by the pool. The pool is just....sad. Very tiny, questionable cleanliness. We had thought about taking a dip but immediately nixed the idea. That evening, when we came back to the hotel, my boyfriend had a question about the TV, and went to speak with the man who had checked us in. He was extremely rude and basically said "tough luck" in so many words. Then we realized we didn't have a remote for the A/C. Rather than bother the Staff Who Cannot Be Bothered, we turned it on ourselves (the A/C was just above the bed) and fortunately, the temperature was cool enough to get us through the night; if had been warmer, I shudder to think how The Staff Who Cannot Be Bothered would have responded had we asked for a remote. The noise from the street was definitely loud - thank god I brought sleeping pills and wore earplugs. Pros: Location, close to major sites Cons: Staff/customer service is a disgrace, rooms are extremely small, breakfast is a joke, pool is one step up from a kiddie pool.
