When we arrived (3 days ago) we were impressed by the look of the hotel, it's large, lots of pools, slide for kids, kids club LOOKED nice, food was nice. We are now on day 3 and we are the ONLY British here. That wouldn't bother me if the staff could understand us even slightly, EVERYTHING here caters for the German. Staff at the beach bar cannot understand us in the slightest, the pool bar we can order from as there is a menu so we just point to what we want. The kids club and entertainment is all in German. After our evening mean at 7-9pm there is nothing for us to do besides sit and drink as the entertainment is all in German so we have been going straight to bed. There is no ATM or money exchange at the hotel so make sure you bring plenty with you. They prefer euros not Turkish lira. You can get a taxi to a store 5 minutes away tho where there is an ATM. Staff just seem annoyed at us when they can't understand us. The holiday makers here are just plain rude! I don't know if that's a German thing but it's grating on us so bad! No smile let alone thank you when you hold doors open, they push infront of you at the restaurant etc, no excuse me, nothing. I asked where the bathroom was on the beach to 3 Older people sat around the bar and they looked at me and turned away, I said 'toilet??' And they looked straight through me again. We literally sit here all day talking between ourselves. At first we thought this place was amazing but it's full of rude people who as soon as they realise your British they blank you or snap because they can't or don't want to understand basic words. Just want to go home!!! We would love to return to Antalya it's beautiful but not to this hotel or any other hotel who doesn't take care of guests from other countries. When we went to marmaris the hotel was tiny and basic but the staff were amazing, the children's evening entertainment was in French, German and English. It's such a shame as the hotel is beautiful. I really enjoyed the food on the first night. But it's the same things everyday so far and I'm already bored of it. Wasted £2000 for two of us on this place!!
if I was told that it was an 85 percent Russian resort I would not have gone ,the rest German !!! I was the only English person there the food was so bad hygene wise buy the cooks preparing ,ie blooded raw chicken dripping over cooked ? liver still raw when served and if your not waiting in a queue you can help yourself to the same repetitive food in the serving trays ,witch bring me to the Russian man eating from the serving trays with his hands whom I had a word but I was picked on ,I went to reception got two people went back and pointed him out had a big row because he thought it was ok !!!!!! so as from that day I eat apples and boiled eggs in my room ,after the fifth day I started to look on the internet for flights home , so to sum up its dirty laid back in all standards caters only for Russian .loud screaming kids everyone eats there dinner in speedos and crocks plastic shoes .I slipt over twice on watermelon were people drop it and don't pick it up ,!!!!! id rather be homless then be in that hell hole ,il do my very best to prevent any body esp English to go through what I gone through yours mr t finch glad my partner wasn't with me so I'm taking her to a place were she deserves ,NOT HERE
The hotel ıs nıce and bıg .pools are bıg but none of the pool was deeper than 140 cm ,ıts better for younger kıds.food vas avarege ,and sea was very wındy and sıkery for us.anımaton was zero tahts why ıt was borıng ,hotel ıtself was nıce staff frıendly
hotel looks good at the first sight, there are plenty of food, fruits, drinks...but still the same. The worst of all was our room, it is not a five star hotel, old furniture, old bathroom...the best was the sea...clean and warm, receptionist doesnt speak english...
Nice place for family..perfect food...too much people..but the best thing who wants to relax is the relax pool..friendly staf..the room is well cleaned every day..the room view was the only thing that don't like..
I am still staying in the hotel, food is very bad, otel staffs are very rude ( specially night recepsionist). this otel is for old and retired people because there is not enough activities for young people. You can go much better place with this amount of money. Extremly not recomended.
Positive: Rooms, pools and cleaning exceeded our expectations. Negative: -Language level in general (even reception was extremely challenged), some of the reception employees where either hesitant or even giving a rude service, -Wifi is terrible even you pay the 20€, -Variety in buffet restaurant as 80% of the food was the same every day and if you came 1/2 hour after buffet opened up most of the desert was already gone, ala carte restaurant (italian) is a nice try but it simply doesn't have the quality neither on the food level or the service level
Food: There's always something to eat! There's 3 main meals (Breakfast,Lunch&Dinner) but there's also snacks throughout the day and even at 1 in the morning, which was very helpful because we arrived at the hotel at 12 and sometimes you get hungry at night. Pool/slides: They were clean and we had a wonderful swim. Beach: It was half sand half stone but that really didn't bother me or the family. However there is a dip so be careful for that and the water was very salty. But apart from all that it was wonderful to spend the whole day as there's a restaurant on the beach. Rooms: Get cleaned everyday but there were some issues at the beginning like our telephone didn't work and in the second room the electricity would work and in the third room the door wouldn't open but that all got sorted very quickly. Staff: Very different from what I aspected they were really nice and polite except from a few staff at the reception. They just didn't want to help and it was like they weren't talking to anyone on the other line (of the phone). Also they chucked us out of the rooms at 12 even though we told them for a late check-out and they didn't care that we had a 2 year old. Our coach was scheduled at 6... Entertainment: 4 days are great other 2 not so great and Sunday is their day off. Internet: We had to pay 20€ for the week ( it works out cheaper than for one day ). There are shops on floor B. But the bazaar (market) is only a 15/30 min drive but they charged us £40 for return. Apart from everything it was a wonderful getaway!
Stayed at Amelia beach for 10 days and had everything we needed. + Rooms are clean, + variety in food, + beach is a short walk, (3 min) + the gym is okay (get creative with a few dumbbells, a bar and 4 stations.), + eating by the beach! + Alcoholic beverages for all inclusives + Marble everywhere + Game hall is pretty nice with bowling alley + Marble shower in the room + Little shop for basics (sun cream, air mattress, etc) ~ Mainly German! Only a few staff members speak English. ~ pebble beach with slope. (Wouldn't mind without my knee injury)
The Hotel is in a home renovation. The wood is not good on the Poolbar . Servicepeople friendly in restourant, but in the sommer time overloaded. Pool has been everyday cleaned but bacteria inside. Hotelbeach is ok but on right and left side dirty but this is normal. Every day the Animation was good, in The night their was strives to give nice program. But many Russian don´t like ist. Hotel management was change the animation, more bad then. in the near have no big shops, but you can go with shuttlebus. Spa very nice. Hamam and massage from Baliwoman. Very professional. we can more news from this hotel if you contact us.
