Beautiful, quiet beach front property
This house is gorgeous and so clean. The beds are really nice, except the twin beds are REALLY squishy and not comfortable. There are plenty of dishes and glassware, comfortable couches and fantastic outdoor furniture, including a great couch on the roof deck. The property is right on the beach with your own entrance and path. The pool and hot-tub/spa are perfect. The drawbacks are that there is construction going on next door, but luckily they weren't working on the house while we were there. There are a lot of stairs (four floors) so if accessibility is an issue this would be challenging. The doors to the second floor deck are alarmed for pool safety, so you can't keep the doors open for fresh air. This house is most appropriate for adults and older kids, I would not have wanted to stay here with little kids. Finally, the 4pm check-in time is unreasonable--and the fact that they will offer an earlier check in for a 350 fee, after paying a steep price to stay there, is insulting and greedy. Inquire about the golf cart--the house is about 1 mile from the cafes and restaurants so the golf cart was very appreciated and fun. Go to Holmes Beach for more action and close-by the Sandbar and the North Shore Cafe were awesome!
