Clean, cool, quiet location
The property is about a quarter mile walk to the beach. The picnic table needs sanding/repainting because if you sit on it you will get slivers. The furniture inside is not very comfortable. Having a few cushions on the dining room chairs would help. The stove is very old and the oven does not work properly. There was a gas smell that made me very nervous. When I asked the owner about it he said it takes 30-40 min to light oven (?) He said it’s old. Needless to say I didn’t use it. The grill outside works great though. There is a fire pit out back but no chairs to put around it. The bathroom was updated. There were towels but no washcloths so bring your own or buy them. The location is close to local establishments for food and beverage and there is Lakeside Market nearby if you want some takeout or groceries. I don’t want to give this a bad review. I’m just being honest about some improvements that could be made.
