Filthy rooms

The coldest welcome to anywhere I’ve stayed. The man at the front desk barely said a few words just to ask for ID and give the room number. The room looked like you would expect on first arriving. After taking our shoes off and walking around the rooms hard floors for 5-10 min both of the bottoms of our feet were black. The floors were filthy. I dragged two wet washcloths under each of my feet to “mop” the floor and both were black by the time I was done. When laying down the shower mat for the first time we saw a dirty foot print on it. We inspected the rest of the towels, the bedding, and the mattress after this. They all looked clean. The mattress was so soft that it sloshed like a waterbed. We were only staying one night, in town for a concert, and everything else was full so we didn’t have many options. We dealt with the room but will not be back.

As expected!

The bathroom is old nd could do with an update (so could my bathroom at home… so there!) but overall everything was great and in line with what I expected. Very nice people :)

In town for a concert at the winery and booked this place online. I arrived early around Noon, the front desk lady said my room wouldn't be ready until after 3 but checked me in and gave me a key to come back anytime after 3 and go directly to my room. I greatly appreciated this. So i went exploring the town for a few hours made it back at 3 and went directly to my room. Very spacious with a mini fridge and microwave.
