For someone who does not like busy streets, this place is a hidden gem. You are surrounded by mature trees, sheltered from the noisy neighborhood. The price is very good, considering you get a hot breakfast every morning, access to a pool, bar and other amenities: pool table, shuttle service...and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I found the food quite good, with traditional Filipino food but they seem seem to cater to Korean and Japanese as well. I highly recommend this place if you want a quieter venue. They provide a shuttle for the airport and other popular shopping locations or they'll flag a trike for you as well.
Original version of vitton resort but still good place to stay. Rooms have clearly seen some seasons but are clean and comfortable. Stuff helps at any points and beachbar/restaurant is really good. Perfect stay for waleshark adventure
A hotel in large open gardens and woodlands sounded great to we booked a deluxe room, price was reasonable and included breakfast. Staff were very helpful and we decided to have dinner before going to our room. Sitting by the pool was nice but we did not see any other guests...... Menu was a mix of European (burger / club sandwiches, Filipino & Korean. I had Korean and my wife Filipino and we enjoyed the food and service. But now comes the disappointment..... The rooms are all ground level down dark garden corridors and the outside is in need of maintenance. Then in to the room ....not as good as the photos......good ac, good TV and bedding reasonable...... Would have liked more pillows but no phone and did not like the walk back. The bath towels were old, blue & worn with bleach marks. In the morning we found a kettle and cups but no spoons and nothing for tea or coffee. So off to the "Restaurant" ....with pool tables, dart board and a few tables..... Not really a restaurant. Here we asked for breakfast and staff delivered a set meal for each of us..... Different though. Spicy Korean chicken stew, rice and a fried egg. Then came a bowl of soup, later a large plate of salad and 4 slices of untoasted bread with just butter. Food tasted OK but not really what I had expected for breakfast. Sorry but I do not think we would stay again and unless they only want Korean guests they need to improve the facilities and food they offer.
Great ambiance! If you're into a cozy, serene and nature-friendly place then woodland is the one for you! Although the restaurant and the cuisine they offer doesn't look appetizing. never the less, It is a great place for nature lovers.
The facility is older and has a musty smell and look to it. The rooms have well used furniture but can be spacious if you get the suites. There is a nice pool with seating all around, and a gazebo where you can sit and enjoy drinks or food from the resto/bar. As for the breakfast, well, I hope you're not expecting much. Most of the food on offer is Korean, but there are fried eggs and toast if requested. Staff is friendly and try to be helpful, but not really trained for their jobs. Example: they made a 2,700 peso mistake with my bill due to not informing me of certain extra charges. I ended up having to pay it even though it wasn't technically my fault. If you are looking to stay in a quiet, tree shrouded, somewhat unkempt hotel... this is it.
Just look at the rooms first get a big one for family its worth it if you stay more than 3 nights Trees everywere the grass area is huge u can play football and cricket bring ur ball and bat and the pool is one of the biggest around The food is mainly Korean ask the cook what u want OR buy the food up the steet give him a tip he might cook it for u i bought a electric fry pan and toaster ate like kings for a month plus eat out its great for family free shuttle van Ouiet not many no about this place
Arrived at Hotel on 3rd April 2015 @1330hrs on my own, although an airport transfer was booked online.Had to take a private van which caused me P450 Upon check in,the room: This hotel is owned by a Korean and it is catered for the Korean tourist. It's an old hotel which needed upgrading as it's a colonial style. Floor was very dusty,it was not mopped for a long time,or it was not used for a long time.If you were to step into the bath area with the floor wet you'll see the foot prints on the floor. Bed sheet was dirty with dust marks. Bathroom walls and the faucet was stained with soap marks, obviously it was not cleaned. Bath towels are old and tattered, still in circulation and not replaced. Bath soap provided are very basic,a thin piece of soap, toiletries are very basic and there are no proper place to store it.It was left on the toilet tank. There's a mini fridge,a safe box and an electric kettle all are working well, but you need to bring your own coffee and tea to make. Breakfast...woww...it's just Korean style all through out.If you are from Korea, then it's a bonus, otherwise you are just going to eat Toast bread and jam.Fruits only one choice. Coffee and fruit cordial is basic. If you are expecting to have an American b'fast here, you can wait long long. You rather go to Mc D and have your b'fast. The swimming pool is big and the pool tiles are stained,no proper maintenance done, although the water is still clean to swim. Shuttle services are provided to guests F.O.C. if you are going to Fields Avenue and so on. On the net this hotel looks pleasing to book, but when you are there,it's a big disappointment, unless you are willing to rough out and accept the sub standard. WiFi was good all through out as the transmitter was close to my room. I rather stay in Fields Avenue as there are more hotels and easy to move around during club hopping at night.
Such friendly, helpful staff! Beautiful place right on the beach. Great food in the restaurant and fantastic value for money! Would definitely recommend to anyone! Holiday or travelling they cater for all :)
We arrived at 3AM after fighting horrendous Easter week traffic from Manila and having spent almost two additional hours driving around both in and out of Mabalacat trying to locate the hotel, which is not on McArthur Highway at all (although there's a tiny sign that's virtually unreadable in the dark) but is back at the end of a side street at least two blocks away. However, the staff were on alert, got us and our luggage to our room pronto, got the a/c going, and left us in peace. The room was spacious and comfortable. Meals were pretty pathetic but we didn't starve.
I stayed at this hotel in Dec 2013 and had a great time, then i went again with my friend in April 2014 and it was the worst experience i ever had there. Where do i start, i get to hotel and was told i have no booking for standard rooms even i had confirmation, i had to take there superior room at higher price, which was ok . Then i saw the swimming pool half drained out, i was worried no pool, and was told by management the pool will be ready in 24 hours but 5 days later still a empty pool.Gutted??? Then the wifi never worked any where so much for free wifi. Then the restaurant had no eggs, no bacon no sausages, It was a great hotel but now it has dragged down to one star hotel, and i would never stay there again, staff was really good but they can only do so much. We only went there because they had a great swimming pool, but was never told the pool was being cleaned out on internet when we made booking. The pick up and drop of van service was great to bad management couldn't do a better job of letting people know about the pool and none existent wifi when the bookings are made. A really good hotel or it use to be. Much better hotels in fair fields ave and cheaper.
