I call them and email before I came , they charge me for a no-show but did have to wait until 3 pm to get my room??? did they sell it 2..? Beds are very unconfortable Its impossible to work with their wifi They took my bottle of champagne from room ( that I bought at their bar) and try to not replace it ... they first ask 4 times if it was sure that I order from their bar( I had the receip!) then try to give me another brand cheaper and say they do not sell the one I say they took from my room( but too bad for them I took a pic!!!)

Stayed with family – two rooms – for a short ski holiday. First, the note that this (between Christmas and New Year’s) is probably the busiest week of the year for all hotels in Andorra. The Novotel would be no exception, and this had an impact on our stay. First, the good: Although the rooms were not cheap (about €110 per person, in a three-person room) they were modern, clean and quiet. The hotel is located in the center of town, within walking distance of good restaurants and shops. The hotel admits pets, so our Labrador had a great stay with his family. And, in Andorra the VAT is 4.5%, as opposed to 21% across the border in Spain, and this makes the prices a bit more friendly. The hotel’s lobby bar is nice and charges reasonable prices, including €3 for a generous glass of cava, Spanish sparkling wine. Then, the middling. There were extra costs for parking (€27 per night), breakfast (€15 per person) and for Scotty the Lab (€17 per night). But it is probably better that these are optional rather than included, since not every guest will want / need them, and they do come at a price. And if cheaper options are sought, there is a public car park virtually across the street, and the Novotel advertises an €8 breakfast buffet at a nearby sister hotel. The disappointing. Wifi is woeful everywhere except the hotel’s lobby (and the underground garage, according to my children). The front desk is understaffed with just one person on duty most of the time, and this in the highest of high seasons. Jonathan did his best, but families checking in and out, others wanting to ask for directions and information, and a ringing phone, meant delays were unavoidable. Mention has been made of the hotel’s car park and its small spaces. It is true that there is some tight maneuvering. This is partly because skiing families tend to arrive in large cars or vans, fully packed with gear, and they need some space to load and unload. In our experience this situation was pretty well handled by the fulltime parking attendant but I don’t doubt that some drivers and passengers could feel frustrated or even a bit claustrophobic. Altogether the Novotel was more than satisfactory, in our experience. In the off season – at half the prices we paid -- this would be a real bargain.

On a whole the hotel was ok but didn't feel Like a 4 star at all, the online pics show a pool which is actually at the next door mecure, on wondering around there we kind of wish we had stayed there as it was more 4 star standard! Our room was very dated and with the sofa bed up quite cramped, it wasn't a bad hotel and breakfast was lovely as well as friendly staff it just didn't seem like other 4 star novotels we stay in, Andorra is a fantastic little place though and highly worth a visit!!

This is a nice hotel situated in the town close to great shopping streets and Caldea the pool and spar centre. The one thing about the hotel website is it advertised a pool and spar but it is actually in the hotel next door.

Very well located - a good hotel for visiting Andorra and surroundings. Good quality / price ratio, but in need of refurbishment. Friendly staff. To go to the indoor pool has to leave and enter the hotel side.

The wife on the 6th floor is poor , weak and it is impossible to navigate. The parking is small, they always offer you a very small parking area when you hardly can open the doors of your car. The staff is not very helpful. The room is ok and the food is good. Ana

I stayed at Novotel Andorra for 2 nights in July 2016 as part of a long bicycle trip. Because of all the cycling, I go to sleep quite early. Around 21:30 I was woken up by an incredibly loud concert on the square outside my room - it really was breathtakingly loud. I went to reception to ask to be moved to a different room but the receptionist refused, saying that the concert is equally audible from all rooms in the entire hotel - confusing, since this ignores the laws of physics, and also suggests that there were free rooms, but she just didn't want to move me. She said I should speak to the manager, who would be on duty at 0900 the next day. This turned out to be not true. The receptionist the next morning, quite incredibly, told me that people in Andorra usually go to sleep around 2300 or midnight, and since the concert ended at 2300, it was no problem. She did call the manager, who said that it was impossible to help me because I was the only person who complained. Truly astonishingly shambolic customer relations by these three members of staff. So, to conclude: if you want to decide your own time for going to sleep, don't choose the Novotel. People in Andorra sleep from 2300 and you should adapt to that. If you try to sleep earlier than that, it's your own fault if there's a loud concert outside.

Very old hotel, especially bathroom area.Old tiles. Avoid car park area as it broke down during our stay and we couldn't use the car. The furniture in the room was old, the carpet are 30+yeard old., the lift quite scary and extremely slow

Stayed one night whilst on a motorcycle tour. We were charged 30 euros to park our 3 motorcycles in the hotel underground park. When I took this up with reception and explained that the machines did not fill one car parking space that is charged at 20 euros for a car I was told that it was non negotiable. Four motorcycles will fit in one car bay, that works out potentially 40 euros per bay for bikes compared to 20 for a car in the same space. Breakfast is a buffet for 11 euros. When I enquired if I could have just the cereal and milk for breakfast and how much would that cost I was told yes but would have to pay the full 11 euros for the buffet. Very expensive for cornflakes and milk!! Needless to say I went without. On a positive note the room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The toilet / shower room was rather dated but functional. All floors are serviced by spacious lifts. The hotel is well located and close to the main shopping areas.

Very friendly staff on check-in, average rooms, small bathrooms, no cooling so you have to sleep with window open and listen to traffic noise. Great location right on the doorstep of the shopping district which is the only reason we stayed here. Good breakfast the next day and free use of pool/gym facilities at Mercury Hotel next door!
