Very well located for ski sharing and shopping. Improved breakfasts compared to previous years, being at a good level. A point of improvement would be the wifi network that disconnects frequently and forces you to identify yourself again

This hotel fullfills the standards of the chain from all points of view services offered rooms, facilities, food and staff special thanks go also to nahuel from the reception who made sure that we had an excellent stay

Great location in Andorra - room was lovely and staff really helpful. There is parking on site but it is a bit on the pricey side - if you park over the road, you can get a deal for parking that allows you to enter as many times as you like in the period - much better value. Food in restaurant was good and staff really helpful.

The hotel was clean with nice large rooms and friendly staff with a good breakfast at an added price. The only let downs are the price of the parking however, parking in andorra is quite expensive anyway however Empark just across the road offer a very good price. Additionally, the king size bed was two single beds pushed together so it was not the most comfortable bed and slightly disappointing for a 4* hotel. On a whole it was a good stay and would recommend.

We booked an Executive suite at this hotel. The room was very nice with a great bathroom. We were told by reception that as we had an executive room the spa facilities, the mini bar and coffee in the lounge were all free. We did not use the spa and the mini bar consisted of 2 beers, 2 cans of coke, 2 bottles of fruit juice and 2 bottles of water. There was no tea or coffee in the room. The breakfast was very good and the evening meals were also very good. However as this was a quiet period the service in the restaurant was very quick. No sooner had we finished 1 course then the next was put in front of us. Car parking under the hotel was very expensive - 20 euros per night - but parking in Andorra anywhere is at a premium. The hotel itself was very clean and sparkling and was in a very good position. The reception staff were very helpful with bus timetables, maps and general information. I liked it here very much.

The hotel claimed four stars, but it was more or less a three star venue. The wifi was free. The room (no. 224) was small. Its small window was overlooking a courtyard. It was clean and the décor was modern and somewhat pleasant. Apart from two single beds stuck together, it had a small, tall coffee table and two armchairs, a tiny desk with a chair and a flat screen TV, which I did not switch on. The size of wardrobe suggested that the hotel was gearing up more for weekend visitors, who do not bring many clothes. As I was travelling with a laptop and an iPad, I was pleased to find a small combination safe in the closet. The room did not have a kettle and the minibar fridge has just two, complimentary bottles of water in it. However, in the lobby, there was a small café with complimentary teas (and they were fantastic), coffees, water and biscuits. The bathroom, which was equipped with a bathtub with a shower section, toilet bowl and a bidet was clean and the white towels were fluffy and spotless. The toiletries included two small pieces of soap and tiny containers of shampoo and shower gel. For a €65 a night, excluding buffet breakfast, which was €10 extra, it was not too bad, I guess.

Conveniently placed at the beginning of the main shopping street and just opposite the Davidoff shop, this is a good and not too expensive hotel. Excellent breakfast too plus garage service! Just at the beginning of Andorra La Vella and helpful staff too.

I did not stay at this hotel. However, I will tell you why I still have an opinion to share on this property. In January, I had a reservation for two nights in April. This decision was not taken in a rush. We had been planning a trip to Europe for several weeks, trying to make the best of our time and our stays. My boyfriend and I had previously decided that coming back from a long road trip in France, it would be nice to make a stop in Andorra to relax before continuing to Barcelona. With this in mind, we booked this Golden Tulip Andorra hotel. At the time it made perfect sense to us to stay there, in a well located hotel in Andorra la Vella which also had a spa, one of the main reasons we chose this hotel above others in the area. On 18th April we arrived in Andorra as planned and immediately went to check in at Golden Tulip. While in the process of receiving our room cards, we were told by a young woman at the front desk (I think her name is Victoria) that the spa was undergoing some repairs and this meant the pool was not going to be available during our stay. This made us start reconsidering our options. We explained this to the reception girl and she said she could do nothing about it. Since we had hit a wall, we asked to speak to her supervisor. She went to her supervisor who refused to talk to us in person though we could hear her speaking in the background, her words coming from behind a wall. It seemed quite rude and not sympathetic at all. All she tried was to offer a small discount on the parking fee which we did not accept. It is perfectly understandable: hotels must at some point perform some maintenance; what I resent is that they do not give the guest the possibility to cancel if the new arrangement is not convenient. The invisible supervisor made the reception girl tell us that our claim had no grounds for a cancellation. I think it is not up to them to decide that. On top of that, this all happened during a super low season. I left a short letter and a copy of my passport. I do not know what happened to my letter but I have an idea. On top of all this unpleasantness, my boyfriend was in terrible pain and needed some rest. We ended up at the hospital that night, by the way. Some days ago I received an email which read: “The hotel has notified us that you did not arrive at the hotel on the check-in date of your booking” and they were charging the two nights. I have already posted my complaint on Priceline to pursue a refund. Priceline did understand our claim and conceded the refund. Although the money will be refunded, that evening was quite an ordeal for us and I have Golden Tulip to thank for that. A perfect missed opportunity to handle a customer request. I cannot help wondering whether this is standard policy or it is due to some horrible staff members they entertain as supervisors.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights while enjoying the snow. The hotel is conveniently located close to the main street where you can find shops and restaurants of all kinds. The hotel has parking (20€ per day) but with very limited spots, so it is recommended to call the hotel in advance and reserve your spot. Otherwise you are going to have to look for a more expensive car park which will be further away. The man in charge of the parking was very friendly. The lobby has an area where you can get complimentary sweets, cookies, water, infusions, and coffee. The buffet breakfast was very good and with plenty of choices. Now, the reason why I'm giving it only 3 stars is the sleep quality. After a day of driving and skiing, it is essential to have a good sleep and recover for the next day. The bed was very uncomfortable, definitely not 4-star hotel bed. Instead of a double bed, there were two single beds together... And the worst of all, you can't turn off the heating, so even at minimum power and temperature it was very hot inside the room, making it very hard to sleep. Luckily Andorra has so many hotels, so next time we will look for another alternative.

Good double rooms with minibar included and changed everyday(beers,cola,water,Granini juices).Very good and diverse breakfast for only 10 euro pp. Excellent cleaning of all spaces,very kind behaviour of all the staff.Free shuttle to the ski cables,with one day before reservation.Free wireless internet,but poor speed.Very low prices in bar and restaurant.The sauna and litle pool are 7 euro per day and person and have no shower.
