This was a nice, clean hotel. It is directly across the street from the train station. There are several places to eat nearby. It was perfect for our one night stay while passing through. We were even able to see some of beautiful Ancona while there.
Very nice staff, clean and surprisingly quiet rooms despite the location. Railways station, car rental, airport and downtown areas all easily accessible ranging from a 30 second walk across the street (to the railway station) to a 7 minutes car ride (to the airport). Basic breakfast offerings (but that's not surprising for the price range). The hotel gives vouchers for fine dining in the full service restaurant a few doors away. Very pleasant multi-lingual staff round the clock. Will recommend without reservation.
The hotel is located next to the station outside the city of Ancona. This is a major issue, not many restaurants nearby and a bad neighborhood especially at night. I did not feel safe at all. The room was ok, however everything was quite old and the bed was not comfy. There was only a small, thin sheet for cover. I stayed for 5 nights and in four of them I had loud sex noises on my floor through the whole night and on two nights some guys having a party. Door and walls are very thin. The night manager did not care at all. The breakfast was ok, most things you would expect but nothing fresh. I would recommend to book another hotel.
The Hotel is well situated friendly reception and staff. Room is clean with all facilities, basic what is needed for short stay. Breakfast cold buffet has a nice variety for everybody including gluten free items. Very efficient and friendly warm service with a smile. Hotel is close to some very typical Italian restaurants enjoying authentic Italian home made cooking
Found this simple clean hotel across the road from the station in stressful circumstances. We checked out 2 other hotels close by and this hotel was by far the most welcoming. Our room was at the back of the property and was clean and quiet with shower only bathroom. Wifi worked well in the room and the buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. Our car had broken down in the city and we needed a place to stay for 2 nights. The receptionist Laura went beyond the call of duty calling the garage to help us and acted as an interpreter. Could not have wished for better service. Thank you Laura!
Right across from train station. Another 20-25 minutes to walk into center of town of Ancona Staff very helpful Excellent coffee, also dairy free milk, and gluten-free alternatives for the breakfast "buffet" Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Very basic We paid 31 Euros per person per night.
The hotel is simple but genuine, clean and inexpensive, ideally situated across the street from the railway station. At reception, staff showed the utmost courtesy, willing to suggest restaurant in the area. Breakfast was quite rich. I felt really welcomed.
I arrived in the early evening and found the hotel right opposite the railway station entrance. This was also just a 3-4 minute drive from the ferry terminals so it was ideally located for travellers. I had a very warm welcome from the smartly dressed guy at reception, who also helped me sort out a parking space for my car in the public parking area right outside the front entrance. The twin-bedded room was spacious, clean and comfortable with working heating controls (always an added bonus!). The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was soft and warm. The hotel bar had a range of drinks and snacks, and breakfast was served in the separate dining room. I really can't fault the friendliness of all the staff I encountered and thought I had got excellent value for such a city-centre hotel. The total price for bed and breakfast (including an incredibly cheap €2 for the overnight parking) was only €54. This included free Wi-Fi as well!
Always stop here (twice a year) as close to port and good parking. Staff friendly and they have stopped doing the silly 'little breakfast' and have the good buffet back (included). Prices competitive.
We have been here for only two days. The personnel of the reception was really kind and polite. The room was clean and the breakfast was served with a big assortment. Pay attention ti espresso caffes (their cost is of 2 euros each). The problem is about the car park, they give you a pass with wich you can park all day paying only 2 euros, but you are not sure about finding it... This hotel is in a good position,in front of the train station and nearby the city centre and the port. At the end, it's been a good experience.
