Tranquil surroundings

Capri is Magical and Villa Eva's rooms sit in beautiful tropical gardens. The pool is surrounded by palms, pomegranate trees and cacti. Each cottage has its own terrace and in some cases a roof terrace. Breakfast is served in the bar adjacent to the outdoor pool. The villa does not do evening meals but Anacapri is a 20 minute walk. This is a getaway from it all location. Those who like corporate type hospitality in the midst of the bustle with evening meals on site would be advised to go elsewhere.

Lovely Place in Anacapri

Villa Eva is a lovely hotel in AnaCapri. The grounds are kept remarkably well groomed, and the pool is also clean and very nice with lots of chairs. Our room was very special with both a deck area and rooftop access with a view of the water. We were able to watch the sunset from the roof both nights, making our stay very special. One thing to note about the location is that it is about a 15-minute walk to Anacapri town (uphill), which can be a bit difficult in the heat. I believe there is a bus that will take you there, which would be a lot easier.

Quiet little oasis of relaxation

This place was amazing! I don't even know where to start. The grounds are beautiful with all of the plants and gardens. The bar/breakfast area with the beautiful pool is so relaxing. Your own personal roof top patio was the perfect place to watch the sunset. The owners were so very friendly and we enjoyed meeting Carlo, the son, and his family. His wife makes the best espresso every morning! They were very helpful with directions, making us reservations for dinner at the most amazing restaurant close by (ask Carlo about it, don't pass this restaurant up!) and renting a scooter for the day. This is a villa, not a resort!! There is no room service and air conditioning is optional (we never needed it after 4 very hot days). Anacapri is so beautiful and we walked to dinner and shopping in about 10 or 15 minutes. The only time we needed the scooter was for one day we spent exploring the rest of the island. The blue grotto is a short bus ride away. You can also ride the bus to Capri but it can get very crowded!! My only complaint-the bed was kind of hard, but again this is not a luxury resort-no down comforters or pillows here! The bathroom was small but worked for what we needed. We absolutely loved Villa Eva and will definitely go back!!
