Great location, cool apartment, just a bit loud at night
Great apartment in a fun location. We really enjoyed being right in/on the edge of the hustle and bustle. And the location on the canal we were on was excellent. The tree-lined canal, the local restaurants and pubs, the early evening golden hour…all were great.
Two things to note: the noise in the alley will definitely impact your sleep late into the night. But it is super quiet until 9 or 10 am so plenty of time to sleep in. Also, the small bed in the very small room with the limited pillows was probably the least positive thing about the apartment. If you don’t need a big bed and only need one small pillow, you’re all set! Sleeping in the couch in the living room was a decent alternative.
Cool spot. We’d go back and just adjust our expectations a bit on the room.
