This scenic route offers breathtaking views of the Irish Sea and opportunities for invigorating walks along the rugged coastline. South Stack Lighthouse, a short drive from Amlwch, is perched on dramatic cliffs, providing spectacular views and opportunities for birdwatching. Beaumaris Castle is a medieval masterpiece and one of the finest examples of 13th century military architecture in the world. Plas Newydd House and Gardens (National Trust) offers a fascinating glimpse into Welsh history and is set within stunning gardens overlooking the Menai Strait. Perfect for families, Pilli Palas Nature World offers the chance to get up close and personal with a range of animals and insects. Red Wharf Bay is a picturesque bay known for its expansive sandy beach, and is a lovely spot for a leisurely afternoon stroll or a beachside picnic.
