Perfect for the whole family, this first-floor apartment offers a comfortable home from home for guests seeking something a little bit different in the lakes. Nestled in our gorgeous converted farmyard, Crummock will allow for you to experience the majesty of Esthwaite and Far Sawrey without the crowds or frantic buzz of the busier villages in the region. You can also make use of the large lawned area complete with seating overlooking the stunning lake and countryside surroundings, so whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic break or a small family looking for the perfect escape to the serenity of the lakes, this apartment is the perfect choice for a memorable holiday in the hidden gem that is our Esthwaite Howe Farmyard. All of our Esthwaite Howe apartments are fitted with a kitchen with an oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, as well as basic cooking utensils and cutlery, etc. Each bathroom also has a heated towel rail and clothes airer. The communal laundry facilities with both washer and dryer are found to the right-hand side of the courtyard as you enter, which guests are welcome to use at their leisure. Do not hesitate to be in touch if you have any questions and we will be more than happy to help.

Cottage near sawrey

Lovely cottage. Nice and clean. Good location for seeing the lake district. Did need a bit of a clean outside the cottage. The stairs leading up to the accommodation. Wasn't stayted on description there where steps going up into cottage.

Der Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft war leider sehr schlecht! Bei Anreise mussten wir zunächst putzen, Dreckwäsche von Vormietern wegräumen und Möbel provisorisch reparieren, um es halbwegs aushalten zu können. Die ganze Wohnung ist renovierungsbedürftig, es gibt einen hässlichen Wasserschaden unter der Decke und ekeliger Dreck als Ergebnis jahrelanger schlechter Putzarbeit ließ ein wenig Wohlfühlen gar nicht erst zu.Geschirr stand schmutzig im Schrank, der Dunstabzug war ekelig fettig und speckig, die Couch roch nach nassem, ungepflegten Hund.Die Dusche wurde nur durch schimmeliges Silikon zusammengehalten und den Zustand hinterm Spülkasten möchte ich nicht näher beschreiben...!Der verschimmelte Duschkopf war nicht zu benutzen!Überall waren Staubfäden und Spinnweben, der muffelnde Teppich strotzte nur so vor langen, ekeligen Hundehaaren!Das Küchenfenster war einfach verglast und komplett verschimmelt, das Fenster im Wohnzimmer war defekt, Lüften war kaum möglich.Der Vermieter ist leider unkulant und entschied sich gegen eine Entschädigung.Diese Unterkunft sollte eigentlich in diesem Zustand niemandem angeboten werden!
