I stayed with Jim and Jenny here as my friends were at The Inn in Grasmere. As a single traveler I took the smaller double room. This was perfect for me, clean, tidy and super quiet looking over to the garden. The best bit of the room was the amazingly comfortable bed. What I enjoyed most was the wonderful hospitality-Jim and Jenny are a true team and nothing too much trouble. They make superb scrambled egg with chrizio too! Great value for money, brilliant location right in the centre and near the bus stop for onward travel in Lakes - would definitely recommend and stay again!

The property is picture perfect with a creek running next to it and a nice back garden ideal for relaxing. It's located in the heart of the village so everything is only a few steps away but it doesn't feel busy. The best thing about Beck Allans is the owners, Jenny and Jim. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable and have a wealth of information about the local area. The breakfasts were excellent.

What a great place to stay! The guest house is located in the heart of Grasmere and it’s overlooking a river - very peaceful. Jim and Jen are the best! There was cake on arrival and the breakfast was so tasty. We will certainly be recommending to others.

Exceptional property, but it is Jen and Jim that really make it worth a visit. They maintain it to the highest possible standards - appearance, facilities, breakfast - but it is their personalities that really make it stand out. Highly recommended.
