Great stay. The hotel is conveniently located a short 5 minute walk from the beach in Amalfi. The view of the beach and water are amazing. Breakfast on the balcony in the warm sun can't be beat - especially the homemade Italian dish that changed daily. The pool and sundeck are nice, though the pool is quite deep and a bit cold. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
My wife and i stayed here in July. Simply put a wonderful Hotel .All the staff are great and cant do enough for you. The roof terrace pool was heaven. You pay for your privacy from the hustle of the town . Its a oasis of calm and refinement. My only gripe is food stops at night . You should be able to order food say up untill midnight and we were told the kitchen was closed. That said we were upgraded to a balcony terrace room . Room 57. It was perfect with fab views over the town and bay. Breakfast is all you need.. if u dont like it theres something wrong with u . A full choice of everything u can imagine. If u go please do Pompai its awe inspiring , truly an must do. To cap it all though this hotel is the best situated , comfortable , relaxing Hotel in Amalfi town. A beautiful oasis on a beautiful Coast ...Italy we left our hearts there .. Grazi
We spent 4 nights in Amalfi at this beautiful hotel. We walked to the center of town to great restaurants, took a boat to Capri and Positano. The location was just perfect, breakfast was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.
The best hotel in all amalfi coast we visited The view is perfect location also perfect !!service nice and smily that we were missing in italy !!!breakfast in the terrace and many choices !! Just incredible!! And good price !!! Would always come back there !!!
A family run hotel with comfort, style and warmth. Great food and service. Very clean rooms and facilities. The terrace has a magnificent view where you can enjoy your breakfast, a snack or linger over a cocktail. A very short walk to the beach and town. Quieter than Sorrento. If coming from Salerno and you're at all prone to motion sickness take a bit instead of a car as the hairpin turns are difficult to stomach. 😉.
This is a lovely little boutique hotel overlooking the bay and very close to the main attractions of Amalfi. Our room had a great view of the beach, was very comfortable and clean. Staff at the hotel were nothing but friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Rooftop loungers were plentiful and comfortable and the pool was small, but exactly what is needed for the property. The pool may not be suitable for families with small children because there is no shallow end. Those with mobility issues may also have difficulty accessing the property as there is little room to negotiate the entrance which is right on the main street of Amalfi. Breakfast was excellent and service was very attentive. Would definitely stay here again.
This hotel has great views, is central to shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptional, we had lost baggage and they were ringing the airline for us, nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable, good size and very clean. The breakfasts were absolutely superb, they are continental with the option of cooked at a cost. The fruit was local and very fresh as were the tomatoes, great selection of cheese, cold meats, bread, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, cakes and always a special hot dish. Would definitely stay here again. There is also a rooftop pool.
This property offers exceptional views, convenient location, clean and beautiful rooms and a very accommodating staff. Owned by the same people as the Santa Catarina, this hotel is less expensive and closer to town. Don't get me wrong, the Santa Catarina is a much different experience as a very large grand hotel. However, the Marina Riviera is a boutique hotel and offers a wonderful experience a short walk from town. The breakfast buffet is awesome and offers fresh eggs cooked to order at no additional charge. Just be warned the entrance is in a precarious location on the road. Requires your attention when walking to and from.
This hotel is centrally placed and is charming. The staff are very helpful. All areas are spotless and the service excellent. Breakfast is served just off the reception area and it was extensive and good. One can take a table on the terrace and have a very leisurely breakfast overlooking the sea and the town to the right. The hotel does not serve dinner but a light lunch is available if required. Our bedroom was well furnished and the bathroom well kitted out with a great shower. All top notch! The position of the hotel may not suit people who have significant mobility problems for its entrance is on the blind corner and there are no pavements as such. Thus crossing the road could post a problem. This did not affect us and certainly did not detract from making our stay most enjoyable .
We loved this hotel. You can tell customer service is a top priority among the entire staff! Rooms are clean and most have a view of the water. Location is perfect. Only a few steps from the downtown area. The rooftop pool was beautiful and their lunch menu had really good options and food was great. Enjoy a glass of wine on patio and watch the sunset!!!
