The cabin is approximate 1000 sf with 3 bedrooms, 1 large loft with 5 beds and 1 full bath. Nice kitchen with quality appliances, a large outdoor grill. Sitting area with fireplace great for reading or relaxing. Patio furniture and hammock swings. Air conditioning and heat. Washer and Dryer.
(Fun History) 2016, Dr. Robert Barrick and Family of 6 kids left their 6000 sqft mansion on the golf course in Cedar City, and moved into this cabin in the summer of 2016. At the time, it only had one bedroom and a loft. With a record breaking winter (Ave of 5 ft of snow) the Barricks grew close as a family and learned how to do hard things. Their story reminded them of the Beverley Hillbillies but in reverse, so one night, they wrote this song. (look up my wife's blog on zions hillbilies). From their generator shed burning down to their daughter being attacked by a bear, the Barricks had a year to remember. Each feature of the cabin tells a story of it's exciting history. (Example) the master bed was made from the fire scared panels of the burnt down shed. The cabin is adorned with local art including a painting from the owner.
As you sit and watch the deer peacefully graze out into the meadow, you can hear the wind whisper through the pines. Listen closely and you will hear Ol' Tom Haycock welcoming you to his cherished valley.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 4 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.
