Looking for a unique getaway- what could be more fun than a post & beam barn. While this barn never stored hay or animals it was built in 2000 for unique living complete with a massive fireplace (with propane insert for both ambiance and heat) high end finishes and even on suites in both bedrooms. While not on Lake Winnipesaukee, it is 3 mins literally to the heart of Alton Bay and the launch ramp onto the Big Lake and 3 minutes to Mount Major for a great hiking experience, 10 mins to Gunstock for skiing and other year round activities and 15 minutes to Meadowbrook. Host is a licensed NH Realtor. NH Meals& Rentals License # 065215.

Nice Getaway House
We enjoyed our stay in this house for a number of reasons. The location was ideal - close to delicious restaurants, hiking trails, and access to many day trip destinations. The house had all the amenities we needed. Finally, the owner provided a wealth of information on places we should go and restaurants we should try.

Great Getaway at Jack’s!
Everything was as listed. The home was immaculate and cozy with great location for boating, beach and bike excursions. We enjoyed cooking in, sitting by the campfire and exploring the nearby area for meals out + other fun activities. Would definitely stay again!
