The only parking in the area for some strange reason is the hotel’s small and inconvenient underground lot which is difficult to access. The room was very hot, no fan, and no tea or coffee in room. Apparently the low rate I secured through BOOKING did not include breakfast, a fan, or tea and coffee.

Recommended Quality in Kiel

This hotel is situated on a small industrial area, however, you should not be distracted by this, as it is a really good hotel. The area is semi rural and quiet, so you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. There is a restaurant within the hotel which serves a good choice of excellent food. Added to which there is a good spread breakfast - from cooked to continental. I would fully recommend this hotel to those wishing to stay in the Kiel area.

Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Location was good, not to far from Kiel centre. €25 approx in a taxi. Room was clean and spacious.

Welcome from staff on reception was 1st class. I sat in their garden which was beautiful. Breakfast had everything on offer I'd have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel

Good place to stay.

We arrived at 2230 and found the hof to be dark. There is an electronic keybox outside of the hof, but I did not have a code. I called Hotels.com and they contacted the owner and gave the keybox code to us. The hof and rooms were clean, the bed seem to be a little worn but we were still able to sleep. There is an active train rail located near the hof and it was still ok to stay there. I would stay there again. Service was friendly and the breakfast was very good.
