Caution when booking this property through Expedia. We traveled to Germany from the United States, and when we arrived there, they did not have our reservation. After finding someone to speak English, she was able to locate the reservation, however, they were not prepared for our arrival. It seemed to be an inconvenience for them that we were there. We asked about a lift/elevator to get our luggage up to the room on the third floor. We were told they had an elevator, however, the elevator only went to the second floor, and we had to take some steep spiral staircase up to the third-floor, and had to haul our heavy luggage up to the third-floor by ourselves, which included my 73 year old mother. We were not happy that help was not offered to move our luggage to our room. We left early the next morning to move onto our next travel location, and there was no one at the front desk to check us out. We waited around, then finally left. Positives: Parking was close to building Room was clean Beds were comfortable

Nice small hotel. The only problem here is the after hours check in. If you coming late the hotel doors are closed, staff is no longer on the property. If you have a German cell phone you should call the owner, if you don't you are in trouble.
