This was a great hotel to stay at for a ski trip. Particularly loved the pool which was relaxing and warm. Staff were very helpful with information on the area and anything we required. Sadly the restaurant was always fully booked so we couldn’t eat there which was a shame. I also found the room sometimes cold and could feel the cold coming through the walls from outside. On the other hand I would stay again as the location is fantastic and the hotel has really cool decor.

Great hotel for a ski trip. Stayed once before 10 years ago and it was good then too. It's a really stylish with a lovely bar area and great drinks menu. The ski rentals team in the hotel are brilliant and the storage system they have for you skis/boots is so handy. The hotel is a short walk to the lifts, very convenient and also super close to all the bars and restaurants in the area. Spa and pool area are very pleasant too. Rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. One of our party (a smoker) was disappointed there were no balconies with the rooms. This didn't really bother me, but worth noting. Breakfasts were good, lots of choice...Weak tea though (pack your own tea bags!). On the whole there is nothing to fault with this hotel, it's pretty perfect. Staff are all very helpful and the bar staff make lovely drinks very efficiently! Love the hotel's quirky, contemporary decor too. You won't be disappointed if you book this hotel (well not with the hotel itself, the snow is a different matter!). Great choice, we'll be back.

We stayed here for a week over Christmas with our two children. The room we booked had a queen bed downstairs and two single beds upstairs in a loft -- an open plan. Both the upstairs and downstairs had a great ambience -- quite functional and comfortable but not luxurious. There was plenty of storage space. Only one bathroom -- again not fancy, but that was fine for us. If you have very little children, the stairs to the loft might be a problem, but it worked perfectly for our family. There is a lively bar in the hotel that we used constantly -- gathering with friends for pre dinner drinks, and sometimes for coffee, lunch, or a snack. We had the breakfast only plan and breakfast was a very decent typical buffet. We had dinner in the hotel a couple of times and the food was only OK and pricey. There are so many restaurants nearby that I recommend not doing the half board, as it's nice to try a variety of places. The hotel has a great location right by the lifts and gondola and close to the town center. There is a ski shop right in the hotel that is a super convenient place to rent skis and also serves as a ski concierge to keep your stuff during your stay. We had never before been to Val D'Isere and the skiing itself was really fabulous -- plenty of snow and a variety of terrain.

Wonderful staff, great welcome and extremely helpful. Super location. Will definitely use again. Very personal service and staff remembered our drink preferences! Also catered very well for our lactose allergy.

Great staff - always very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Great location - easy to get to slopes/restaurants/bars. Great cocktails in the bar - 'framboise mojito' to be recommended! Good breakfast buffet - wide choice - will visit again for sure

Hotel is in fab location just 50 meters from the ski school meeting area. It has its own ski hire shop and boot room, with fab staff who were super helpful. The food was fantastic, both breakfast and dinner. Rooms were clean and tidy, in fact the whole hotel was very clean and tidy. Health Club was great, really nice to use the pool after a hard days skiing as well as the sauna and steam room. The staff were very polite and went out of their way to make your stay a good one. Only one problem stayed in room 105 and could hear the music from the bar, which could be a problem if you wanted an early night!

My first stay in Val d'Isère and it was a great one. I really appreciated the hotel with its amenities - spa, hamam, swimming pool. The hotel room was quite spacious and well equipped. Short distance to the ski lifts. Thumbs up!

Very rarely stay in a hotel in Val, but a three day trip mid December left little option . Aigle des Neiges had ( and apparently often has ) a fantastic deal on offer for low/out of season dates . So we couldn't resist . We got the same service and attention as if paying top dollar. All the staff were fantastic, all spoke english, the ski storage facitiies the best we've experienced. Our room spacious and comfortable and even the check out and provision of a breakfast bag at 05.30 offered unexpectedly an added bonus . We could not have been made more welcome

Visited for 3 days of skiing - as it was early season I was able to book at a very favourable rate. This hotel is fantastic - great location (the determined skier can ski in if they are willing to cross a road), lovely breakfast buffet, beautiful lobby bar, on site indoor parking (albeit for 20 euros a day), and fantastic service. Everything is luxurious - great spa, even the ski room is staffed and your kit is laid out clean and warm each morning for you. We left directly from a day on the slopes and not only did the staff remember our return time and arrange our car whilst we got changed they also prepared a little bag of snacks for our journey. Overall a fantastic hotel - I have stayed in many city centre 5* hotels which are not as good as this.

We stay in a duplex room on 3rd floor with One king and two single beds. The room is new and things are working. Free indoor pool and sauna is nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Please note that this is not ski-in/ski-out hotel but 50-m walking to the slope. There is hardly true ski-in ski-out hotels in Val D’Isere as opposed to Val Thorens. Breakfast is good, though with limited choices. There are a lot of good restaurants within 500 metres distance. We tried La Luge, Val Crepe and Restaurant 1789 and very happy with all of them. Concierge helps to book the restaurants for us. Many restaurants close during lunch.
