While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs. Please follow these guidelines: Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time. Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active. Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach. Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times. Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Thank you for your attention and care.

Great view
The view, cabin, quiet of the woods, responsiveness of the property manager, quality of the house….everything was great except for the road getting to the house. Lucky we had all wheel drive but there was some spinning tires and bottoming out of the rav4. One night we had to help a girl get her mini cooper up the heal to her house. Everything else was great, would go again just with my 4th tacoma

Cozy Cabin Retreat
My spouse and I booked this cabin for a last minute weekend getaway.
The booking process was easy and details were on point.
The cabin was even more cozy in person.
On our way home we were already planning our next stay.
The host was very active with responding to questions.
The cabin coffee from Cardinal Cafe was really good, even so we stopped by the coffee shop again.

Cabin
I enjoyed this cabin a lot. It is perfect for a small family or two couples. They do have two bigger cabins if you have a larger crowd. You cannot see the other cabins as the woods block them for a nice privacy. The only thing I would suggest is maybe four wheel drive vehicle especially in the winter in case it snows, as this beautiful cabin sits on top of the mountain. The hot tube was amazing with an excellent view as well. Me and my wife have already said we would go back to this cabin, just this time we will take my truck

Beautiful area
Cottage is located in the beautiful location, nice and cozy. All appliances were working properly, jacuzzi was great. Kitchen nice and clean, just little short on the utensils. Also beds not very comfortable. But in general great place to rent for quiet, and relaxing time.

It was great!
Everything was as seen in the pictures. There were a few larger cabins nearby that had a bunch of guests in them and we couldn’t even hear them from our location. Quiet and peaceful.

My view good and bad
I'll tell you my good and bad and let you decide. Good things 1st..We stayed 4 nights and never had a problem with wifi, water, hot tub and I know this may seem odd but the tap water was very good, we drank after running out of bottle water! I still can'tbelieveit, it was so good!. Visit to Bryson town and Smoky Mountains fantastic! Now the bad, the cabin had a mold smell from the downstairs bathroom needs attention , recaulk the shower that would help greatly!. I understand spiders remake there webs but sometimes someone needs to take a broom to the outside chairs were covered with dirt and spiders ..not kidding!! The beds are hard as a brick, not for us. Also someone needs to put a sign saying this is Fontana 1 cabin, not cool when you pass it up a oneway drive up the side of a mountain and have to back track! Last but not least, I recommend 4wd, for this was hard in a basic SUV we had to gun it up the driveway!.
