The Hotel Schlosskrone served our family well. 2 nice rooms...parking and breakfast included! From here, we were able to visit two local castles...Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. The hotel location was in city center and convenient to bus station (wouldn’t want to drive myself to castles). All in all a good place to stay and a great town to visit.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Castles. However, very sad that only spent less than a day. Nice hotel in the middle of the very nice city, which is well worth a separate visit by itself. Good deserts and bar downstairs. Have not been to spa - next time. Plenty of restaurants and bars within 5 min walking distance. Heard that it might also come with a view. Should be nice

A Nice town to stay and hotel completes it. Good bed and nice bathroom with all the commodities. Has private parking and a good restaurant. A quiet room and television with a lot of channels. Will certainly go back to such a hotel...also fair price

We stayed here one night while visiting the castles. Would have loved to stay longer but our travel plans wouldn’t allow it. We received an upgraded room from the basic one we had booked. It was very nice - modern facilities with both a bath and separate shower. Rest of room decorated in cozy country style appropriate to the area. And very clean. A great breakfast buffet was included. Only issue we had was that room overlooked a Main Street in town which got some truck traffic through the night. Eventually had to close window and turn on A/C despite it being a cool evening - just so we could sleep. So next time would request a room at the back. Friendly staff were a pleasure to deal with. Hotel can’t be more central to the village. Main pedestrian area starts right across the street and hotel is only 5 minute walk from train station and buses to Neuschwanstein. Would definitely stay here again if can get a quiet room.

My (now) husband and I stayed at Schlosskrone back in November 2014 as we were touring Bavaria and all of its beauty. We used to make an impromptu reservation as we were leaving Innsbruck, Austria and heading to Füssen in order to see the castles the next day. We literally just got engaged in Innsbruck and decided to stay at Schlosskrone after reading their great reviews. What a perfect choice for such a celebratory night!! Upon our arrival, they upgraded us to a top floor suite and had excellent customer service with suggestions for late-night restaurants in which they helped make reservations for us. I cannot express enough just how beautiful and charming our room was with the chalet-ski look of the wood accents and the beautiful bathroom with a castle etched into the glass door! We had drinks down at the bar before our 8pm dinner reservations down the street and enjoyed the lobby space very much (especially after our long drive that day). The beds were incredible and the down comforters extra comfy! We awoke to a beautiful breakfast spread at their restaurant next door the next morning and had a wonderful start to our day before casteling. Thank you, Schlosskrone, for making our engagement weekend extra special!!

Very nice hotel at the right price with big and cozy room. One of the biggest room ever in Europe, clean, cozy and very well situated. Underground garage is a plus. Excellent kitchen and friendly staff. A very good choice.

Enjoyed our overnight stay here. The hotel is extremely nice, lovely room, very friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent, so much choice, something for everyone's taste. We will definitely be back!

I love a lovely hotel. I stay in hotels about 60 nights a year--so I appreciate attention to the detail. This hotel has a lovely breakfast. A coffee bar with a machine that include macchiato (a favorite of mine). A chocolate fountain. A fruit bar. A display of breads. You want it? It's there for breakfast. And if you like pastires--the pastry shop is connected and provided the best black forest cake I ate on my trip. And the rooms are lovely too. What a treat! It was worth the splurge.

We stayed two nights in August with our teen girls. We had a family room. Check in was pretty slow, because only two people where staffing the front desk during main check in time ! Our room was facing the Main Street so I ask would there be a more quiet room away from street, which I was rudely told No! we don't have any other rooms. We paid more then $ 500 for this two nights! The lady who checked us in was the owner ,so don't really get it why you are in the hospitality industry if you are rude. All other staff we encountered was helpfully and friendly. Room was a very nice size for Europe. Bathhroom very small , two people can't be in there at the same time. Everything was very clean and the room had a fridge what was very handy since we had to store some medication in a fridge. Location is right in the center of Füssen , opposite of the entrance of the pedestrian zone , so it's very convenient to explore the town by foot and stroll around at night. So I would say if your room faces away from street definitely a perfect stay. If you face the street you will hear ambulances and police all night long since they get to the hospital nearby! Didn't make for a very good night sleep! Room had air conditioning what was great since it was very hot when we stayed in Füssen. Breakfast was absolutely great, I would say one off the best we ever had. Great selection of cold meats and cheeses , different juices, eggs, crepes , fruits, sausages, pretzel and breads. The chocolate fountain was a very nice addition and they had a absolutely awesome coffee machine. So the breakfast buffet is really outstanding ! We had problems with the safe to open up , what one staff mentioned they had a lot. After three tries they could final open it,they thought problems with the battery, and I have to say that the front desk lady was very helpful . It made us about 1 1/2 hour late since each time you have to wait 20 minutes to try again. Would I stay again, probably, but only in a room away from Main Street and it would be nice if check in would be less rude . This place could be excellent if they would do a few improvements .

We were so impressed with this hotel! Our room was fabulous and very nice size. Big bathroom with a large tub and also a large shower. We had French doors that opened to a huge patio. The breakfast included was really good and lots of options. We will definitely be back!
