The hotel consisted of individual villas with different sleeping options depending on number of people. We had a queen bed with a twin in our villa for the two of us. It had a kitchenette. Very clean and quiet. There is no restaurant on site but there are nearby eating options within a 10 minute walk. WiFi was excellent. We were here for five nights and our only real complaint was there wasn't a lounge or couch in the room.
Stayed here for 7 nights over the Beanie Festival with a friend. Good twin-share accommodation, clean and comfortable. However, the front door did not lock without a struggle, and even though we reported this it was not addressed. It took two of us to close and lock it every time we went out. The cooking equipment was very old and did not operate correctly. The toaster had one setting - Burn. I did not see any evidence that any of it had ever been electrically tested and tagged. The bathroom exhaust fan was not connected and we were fogged out every day. The communal BBQ ( the one in the shed) was filthy and had no instructions for use. These are all minor issues that could so easily be fixed, and all were reported to management. Otherwise, a great location, quiet and spacious. It has a lovely pool area that looks ideal for young children. Easy access to the golf course for basic pub-style meals at reasonable prices. A few simple repairs and upgrades to this apartment and it would live up to its 3.5 - 4 star rating.
Well situated only a 15 minute easy walk to the town two hotels and a golf course very near have a range of eating options. The villa was clean and comfortable with enough food preparation equipment to make simple meals. They are not attached to each other so no problems with noise from neighbours. Housekeeping is available daily if required and the reception area has baskets of coffee etc for your to take if you run out of supplies. Really helpful staff. Luggage can be stored if you go off on tours or have a late departure. Very pleasant pool area to sit in the winter sun.
We needed acommodation for the night with secure parking as we were going home to Adelaide after travelling around the outback for 8 weeks in our 4wd and camper. With the help of the information bureau, the recommended Desert Palms. Cost was very low and we had a lovely bungalow wth verandah for the night. It was very vvold and eee appreciated the air con and clean and well appointed bathroom. Room had small kitchenette and access to eating place in the golf course behind via a coded security gate. Lovely place.
Well appointed, clean Chalet style units with all modern facilities, small fridge, flat screen TV and microwave. Quiet safe location, with a lovely facilities of laundry and swimming pool, supported by friendly staff.
The cabin was very clean and very handy to have a kitchenette. It gives you the option to at least have your breakfast on site. Good security with gates locked at night. The golf course next door served up good food at good prices. The front office/small grocery was well stocked with wine, beer and general grocery products. Would recommend for a short or longer holiday.
The staff were helpful. Good security with gates shut at night so you get a code. The cabin was clean and good to have a kitchenette. Was quiet where we were. The pool was lovely and refreshing after an active day. The price was good too. Short walk to Lasseters Casino and some food place.
The hubby and his mates stayed here for a golfing adventure... doesn't get much better than being right beside the golf course, and being able to walk straight to the clubhouse. They were happy with the cooking facilities and the pleasant quiet surroundings.
My three children and I stayed here for one night after a trip to Uluru. The accomodation was basic but generally clean, and reasonable value for money. I found the room to be a little cramped for all of us - all beds (double, single and bunk) were in the same small area as the little kitchenette - but as we were only staying one night it didn't matter much. If you were staying for a longer duration, I'd consider elsewhere unless you are a very close family!! The kids enjoyed the pool area, which was well-maintained.
It is located just a 5 minute stroll to the Hilton and Crowne Plaza. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was clean. It had a basic kitchen space with microwave and cooktop. The free wi fi worked well. We parked directly next to our front door which made it easy to bring in suitcases etc. My only quibbles would be that a secure lockable screen on the sliding door would have allowed for a breeze through the unit at night when asleep. The only screened window was above the kitchen sink. Also a bench or vanity unit in the bathroom would have meant we would return on our next visit to Alice Springs. We had to keep our toothbrushes in the kitchen. The laundry worked and the pool clean and refreshing.
