Really enjoyed our stay here. Great facilities. Clean and tidy rooms. Loved the little kitchenette which had all we needed to cook a meal for the family. A shame we couldn't turn the outside light off is all... even with the curtain closed at night it was really bright. Highly recommend!
We stayed one night in this hotel and it was really perfect, the location, the room large and very pleasant, heated swimmingpool. 10 minutes from the airport. Parking just outside of the hotel. Very easy to find.
We are staying a week here and have had the best time. Neat and clean. Great laundry facilities. Pool is excellent and very good for younger children with a big island in the middle. Close to all facilities.
I first stayed here approximately 5 years ago and did not hesitate to come back again. Gladly the Desert Palms did not let me down - still very comfortable, clean and presentable individual chalets with enough creature comforts for the four days we were here. The beds and bed linen were very good, outside balcony more than sufficient, the kitchenette merely a microwave kettle and fridge but enough to survive. The pool is clean and well presented and the laundry very handy. I will be back again one day
The chalets have been refurbished since our last stay 3 years ago. It is a great place to overnight as the chalets have cooking facilities. A comfortable, clean, well appointed, motel where you will have a good night's sleep.
The detached bungalow type rooms had their own verandas, a kitchenette and decent shower facilities. There was a basic shop on site, but you would have to go to Alice Springs town for any decent provisions. A small pool for lazing around is available and the water was very cold! There is excellent wifi coverage around the site. The place was clean and tidy and pretty quiet with friendly locals whilst we were there. Fine for a stop over on your way to your next destination, as there is nothing much else around.
My 4 star review is because of the wonderful view of the swimming pool and palm trees I had from my villa veranda (no 171 if anyone is interested). It was a quiet place to stay with considerate neighbours, good wifi, comfortable bed with clean linen and location. Beer (and wine) was available and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay again. The downsides... on first glance, the villa looked clean. Closer up, not so. I had to move the bed to locate a power point and it clearly hadn't been moved in a while. The fridge didn't smell great and the plate I went to use was greasy. Of course the previous guests had clearly not washed it properly but it put me off using anything else. It is clear from the grounds that cleanliness is important but I think my villa particularly needed a really thorough clean.
A group on a mission trip of 23 people to Alice Springs stayed here for 4 nights. A very comfortable place to stay. Good facilities, swimming pool, barbecue area, shop and well equipped units. Great position with casino and golf club close with restaurants. Units are equipped well and cooking there is possible. Very secure with the area locked at night with coded gate to obtain access.
Stayed here after a couple of nights in the outback. The beds were comfortable, the unit was clean, the shower pressure was good, the wifi was excellent, and the heater/air con worked well. Only a 10 minute drive from the airport. Would stay here again in a second.
Friendly helpful staff, great pool area. We stayed on 3 occasions over a 2 week period as we travel around the area. They even stored some of our baggage when we were away hiking. Very quiet and easy walk to shopping area etc
