Stayed here after a couple of nights in the outback. The beds were comfortable, the unit was clean, the shower pressure was good, the wifi was excellent, and the heater/air con worked well. Only a 10 minute drive from the airport. Would stay here again in a second.

Friendly helpful staff, great pool area. We stayed on 3 occasions over a 2 week period as we travel around the area. They even stored some of our baggage when we were away hiking. Very quiet and easy walk to shopping area etc

Stayed here one night before heading to Uluru. We had a vehicle but could do without one for a short stay, as the Crowne is within walking distance and I am sure that tours pick up and return from the resort. We walked through the back gate and had pub grub at the golf club. Comfortable and clean. A fridge and microwave but no oven/hot plate. Parking outside the chalet. Nice little balcony for an afternoon drink.

Nice, clean, fairly basic, but comfortable chalets, equipped with pretty much everything you would need. Aircon/heating, pool. Helpful reception staff and attentive room service - replacing coffee etc, making up beds, changing towels. Essentials on sale at reception - beer, wine and food. Inexpensive, and entirely satisfactory for a few days stay in the Alice.

The Desert Palms is a great place to stay. The Villas are very clean and comfortable. The Reception staff were always helpful and friendly. We appreciated that we were able to leave our larger cases in secure storage when we left for our three day tour of Uluru and Kings Canyon. When we returned to the Desert Palms, the second villa we had was again very comfortable and clean. We were able to enjoy walking into Alice Springs, which was very pleasant, so location is very good. We would happily return to the Desert Palms for any return trips to Alice Springs

The hotel consisted of individual villas with different sleeping options depending on number of people. We had a queen bed with a twin in our villa for the two of us. It had a kitchenette. Very clean and quiet. There is no restaurant on site but there are nearby eating options within a 10 minute walk. WiFi was excellent. We were here for five nights and our only real complaint was there wasn't a lounge or couch in the room.

Stayed here for 7 nights over the Beanie Festival with a friend. Good twin-share accommodation, clean and comfortable. However, the front door did not lock without a struggle, and even though we reported this it was not addressed. It took two of us to close and lock it every time we went out. The cooking equipment was very old and did not operate correctly. The toaster had one setting - Burn. I did not see any evidence that any of it had ever been electrically tested and tagged. The bathroom exhaust fan was not connected and we were fogged out every day. The communal BBQ ( the one in the shed) was filthy and had no instructions for use. These are all minor issues that could so easily be fixed, and all were reported to management. Otherwise, a great location, quiet and spacious. It has a lovely pool area that looks ideal for young children. Easy access to the golf course for basic pub-style meals at reasonable prices. A few simple repairs and upgrades to this apartment and it would live up to its 3.5 - 4 star rating.

Well situated only a 15 minute easy walk to the town two hotels and a golf course very near have a range of eating options. The villa was clean and comfortable with enough food preparation equipment to make simple meals. They are not attached to each other so no problems with noise from neighbours. Housekeeping is available daily if required and the reception area has baskets of coffee etc for your to take if you run out of supplies. Really helpful staff. Luggage can be stored if you go off on tours or have a late departure. Very pleasant pool area to sit in the winter sun.

We needed acommodation for the night with secure parking as we were going home to Adelaide after travelling around the outback for 8 weeks in our 4wd and camper. With the help of the information bureau, the recommended Desert Palms. Cost was very low and we had a lovely bungalow wth verandah for the night. It was very vvold and eee appreciated the air con and clean and well appointed bathroom. Room had small kitchenette and access to eating place in the golf course behind via a coded security gate. Lovely place.

Well appointed, clean Chalet style units with all modern facilities, small fridge, flat screen TV and microwave. Quiet safe location, with a lovely facilities of laundry and swimming pool, supported by friendly staff.
