Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters

Still the best accommodation in Alice Springs. Friendly and professional staff who cannot do enough to help you to enjoy your stay. I always choose to stay here when on business or for pleasure. Great rooms and a lovely pool setting with bar (although bar could stay open a little later than 5pm)

The hotel is part of a casino and convention complex. As a result the dining room and bar/lounge facilities were attached to the casino not the hotel. This meant long walks for meals and less than ideal surrounds for socialising. During the day there are limited bar facilities by the hotel pool but these close before the socialising hour. The room in block 5 was quite good with good air conditioning and a good bathroom but a long way from anywhere.

Highly recommended! Pool and Bar area is great for family relaxing. The rooms were spacious and contemporary, adjoining rooms are available and great for large families. the location is away from the CBD but a shuttle bus is available. Bathrooms were slightly outdated but the showers were still great.

Lovely big room although in places the room looked a bit tied the spa bath was outdated and needs a revamp and the hotel is good value and would be more than happy to stay here again. Peter & Vivienne Murray

I regularly stay on business here after sampling all the other hotels in Alice Springs. The staff are warm and welcoming and I have always enjoyed the rooms, particularly in block 5. Do keep in mind that the hotel is based at the Casino and this can be very loud and noisy if you time your visit to coincide with the Alice Springs races or some other festival. However that can also be an appealing factor as you get to meet a lot of characters. Best tip for you is to join the IHG rewards program.

Worth the Upgrade to a premium room with a spa bath. Comfortable king bed with separate lounge area with bar style nook. Large balcony Fabulous hotel. Close to town centre of Alice springs would stay here again.

Crowne holds a certain level of decency with the name. What you don't expect it to stay in a room with peeling paint, dirt everywhere, hair on practically every surface and dirty bed linen. We were disgusted. When we complained to the woman at the front desk she said "What do you mean it's dirty? No it isn't." When we proceeded to show her the photos I'll put on here she used a "shoo" gesture with her hands and said "that's not dirty. Thank you." We will not stay here again. We will tell EVERYONE how awful our experience was. Do yourselves a favour and get a different hotel for half the price and double the quality.

Good hotel but a bit out of town. Okay if you're driving your own car but otherwise a reliance on the Courtesy Bus or taxis. Good rooms, bathrooms could have been cleaner, staff were simply excellent at Reception.

This is an average casino in Alice Springs, it seemed to be understaffed and some staff seemed incompetent in their role. The strong room spray in the entire establishment is also extremely overpowering.

Had a room furthest away from the casino so the only noise were guests coming back to their rooms. I was upgraded , so the room was great. Check in and check out was faultless and everything worked. Breakfast is excellent , but I would only say that dinner in Tali was average. Next time around I will probably eat out. The temperature was only 6 degrees in the morning and there was someone doing laps, I suspect the pool must be heated.
