Crowne Plaza Alice Springs Lasseters

This hotel is currently being renovated and if you stay there do make sure you have a renovated room. The casino is next door which is a nice place to eat and have a drink. There is a restaurant in the hotel but didn't use it. If I had one criticism it would be that if like me you have an early departure you are unable to purchase any food to takeaway early in the morning.

Had a quick overnight stay here. I stayed in block 5 which is away from the casino, reception and the restaurant. Not much of a problem since it is a cluster of blocks next to each other. The room was soooooo spacious that comes with a king size bed, a balcony with a pool view, sofa bed and a work desk. The other side of the rooms is facing the Macdonnell Range which is another awesome view. Bathroom is huge enough and well equipped with everything you need. I had a nice dip after cycling around Alice Springs. This hotel offers free bicycle rental which is amazing! Restaurant provides lots of dinner options. Breakfast was a buffet but the food was average. Casino provides great entertainment at night but please don't gamble too much as the house always win! :)

Beautifully presented, modern room in (much newer) block 5. Really couldn't fault the room itself. It should also be noted that two other 'blocks' are currently in the process of being completely refurbished. Only negative was the food at Tali, which is promoted as the 'fine-dining' restaurant in the complex. The restaurant space itself is beautiful, but the food quality at both breakfast and dinner is average at best, especially considering the high prices charged.

The last time I was here was in 2007. Apart from a change in staff, the place is much the same. Rooms are good, pool area is fantastic, heaps of pokies and of course the casino side of things, plenty of choices where to get a meal. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

We have been on the road for more than two months and this was the best sleep we had. The room was large, quiet and very clean. Several places to eat in the complex. If I was to return to Alice Springs again, I would stay here for sure.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights before our tour began. On arrival the friendly reception staff checked us in quickly and even gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe room. The grounds were well kept, clean and very easy to get around. Our room was clean and had 2 large queen size beds that were supper comfy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night recently. The room was fine - roomy and comfortable. Didn't get a chance to go in the pool unfortunately but it looked nice. Breakfast was extremely average. The best thing was a guy making eggs to order - they were nice but the rest of the cooked food looked very unappealing. Less choice than other hotels we've stayed in recently.

stayed here in Sept , surprisingly priced. the restaurants around it were great. The casino s good to. Great front desk service but the rooms were huge and spacious. Definitely recommend to stay here at least one night.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Alice Springs in October 2017. The staff and facilities were all perfect. We had a superior room with beautiful linen and all the things needed for a perfect holiday, robes, kettle, hair dryer, shampoo, iron, iron board, safe and anything else was never a problem for the staff. We had a beautiful room by the pool. The Casino was connected to the resort via a short walkway with restaurants and bars at our finger tips. A daily free shuttle to the CBD was helpful for looking around the town. Staff were very helpful with any tours. Room service was affordable and welcome after a full day of exploring.

Casino hotels are not my normal comfort zone, but Lasseters manages to keep the casino separate from the resort. This means you can check in, enjoy the gym/pool/restaurant facilities without ever noticing the adjacent casino. The hotel is set on the outskirts of Alice Springs near the Macdonnell Ranges, which gives a peaceful environment. Rooms are showing their age a little now, but are well equipped with good air conditioning, and certainly comfortable. The pool area is nice and well-patronised, but the stand-out for me was Tali restaurant. We had a succession of excellent meals here over several days. The food was so good and catered for special dietary needs so well that we didn't even consider going elsewhere for meals. There is a complimentary shuttle bus into town that runs a few times per day, and tours to the many local attractions can be arranged through the front desk. I would rate this as a quality hotel, probably the best in Alice Springs.
