This was an excellent hotel to stop in for a couple of days.the staff were friendly and the rooms were good. There is a restaurant adjoining the hotel, but it had just undergone a refurb, which meet a limited menu, but the staff were friendly and the service was still good.

Being in the centre of town was the best thing about this motel. We arrived at 7.30pm only to be told we could not get a feed at the motel due to renovations and thus had to walk around an unfamiliar town at night to get food. The reception staff were friendly enough and the motel looked quiet modern until we got to our room which was reasonable comfortable but was a bit run down. The first night we were there was a bit chilli and the heater would not work which meant a cold night for my wife until they could fix it in morning. If we went to Alice Springs again we would probably stay at one of the more upmarket motels.

We stayed for 2 nights and everything was good. The reception staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable but a little outdated and tired. Unfortunately the restaurant attached to the Aurora was closed for renovations but there are a number of other places within walking distance.

We've been one night there. This was a nice place to be after a 3 days safari around Uluru and Kings Canyon. Nice restaurant close to the main hotel building. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and equipped with absolutely necessary air conditioning in the area. Staff very helpful and good breakfast.

This is an older style hotel with the hotel administration area in a separate area from the accommodation areas (which required a trek out the back to reach). It is reasonably quiet except when people use the outdoor BBQ area and talk loudly and disturb you if your room is adjacent to it (like ours was).

We were travelling as a group of six. Didn't know when we'd arrive so didn't book until we got to town. Best value available. We liked it enough to happily pay more when the less expensive rooms weren't available ten days later.

It was a great place for myself and daughter to stay for a night after driving in from Uluru. Big comfortable beds. Clean room & grounds. Great friendly service. Felt safe. Mini bar options. Would recommend to others

A top place not 5 star, but really has all the trimmings needed to relax and enjoy. All the 5 stars are on the outskirts of town, the Aurora is a hidden gem in the heart of town and close to everything.

After a 14 hour bus journey we were informed by Aurora reception staff that the Red Ochre restaurant was closed for renovation and were given limited information on the availably of local dining establishments. I found Alice Springs to very charming town however the charm and and friendliness experienced at visited attractions around Alice Springs was "NOT" displayed by the reception staff of the Aurora on arrival or departure. Customer service is not an attribute of the Aurora.

Stayed here previously and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately on this occasion the room had a bad odour and cockroaches in the bathroom which I had to spray - more kept arriving. Every time I switched on the light, more scuttled away. Did not make for a peaceful night ahead of a stressful working day.
