The hotels name suggests it has a view of the port , definitely not , the hotel is situated close to the old town on a busy main road that is constantly busy , close next door is a primary school , the noise from the school is very intrusive .The school day starts at 9am with loud music to welcome the children , during a school day the children are outside about two hours . Because the hotels pool and sun lounge area are completely surrounded by 5 storey buildings , the noise reverberates back and forth . That's the negative side , the other side of the Vista Oro , is its great value , we travelled in March and paid £300 each for a week , all inclusive from Manchester.Thats three meals a day ,all drinks included ! The food is varied and well presented , although not always as warm as it should be .Fruit and snacks are available outside meal times . The hotel has been refurbished recently and the rooms and public areas are in very good condition although the rooms that don't overlook the pool are best avoided , they face onto a blank wall .Free wifi ,that works well is included . Staff in the hotel are friendly and efficient. Finally the hotel caters mainly for pensioners and the entertainment is slanted towards them , free bingo was on two nights , with local Spanish entertainers on every evening , most guests are in bed by 11 pm . Although not perfect ,at such a low price the hotel is worth a visit.
This hotel is good value for money staff really good rooms cleaned daily overall a good place to stay quite a lot of Spanish Oaps staying there so nightly entertainment tends to suit them but quite enjoyable. the young lady who does the entertainment needs to learn English a bit more so English people can join in bit more and she needs how to use a microphone better as her voice can be quite loud at times.
Stayed for 7 nights in February, the hotel rooms were clean and tidy however the majority of the other guests were Spanish Pensioners, who we found to be very rude and impolite. The evening entertainment every night consisted of Spanish dancing and line dancing, which is fine but not every night, we found the food choices to be adequate but nothing special. The rooms however are comfortable and kept clean, and the reception staff were helpful. Would I stay here again? Probably not.
Just returned from 1 week holiday, Reception and Bar area were well presented and clean, reception team and bar staff friendly . Our room was very dated and poorly maintained, Gap around door so you could seen into corridor. Restaurant is quite small for hotel of this size staff worked had trying to keep tables clean and keep guests flowing through . In my opinion the food needs to be improved and it definitely needs to be kept warmer. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, Lunch and dinner were poor , Could also do with some choices for children. Entertainment was extremely limited and consisted of line dancing tuition in the afternoon followed by Streching excersises. Evening entertainment very repetitive ,Singer/Keyboard player most evenings and lots of line dancing which is ok for those who like it. Pool was allways in the shade so never warmed up . Not a great place for children as nothing for them to do. On a plus side , other guests were friendly, So we managed an occasional smile.
We booked this hotel on a late deal. Because it was so cheap we weren’t expecting too much. The location is brilliant. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants right in the centre of the old town and less than 5 mins walk from the beach. The hotel was spotlessly clean and has clearly been recently refurbished. The staff were very helpful and friendly including housekeeping who did a great job making up our room each day. The food in the restaurant was really tasty with a good selection at each meal time. We would definitely stay here again
Nice hotel but very noisy even though there are notices re noise and asking you to consider other guests between 11pm and 7am. There is also a notice outside the restaurant re dress code at meal times but the management do not seem to enforce it which is wrong. Reception was very helpful. Our maid was excellent on the 4th floor. Food was either cold or luke warm. Luckily we had only booked half board so had the freedom of finding other places to eat and drink. We got a lot of noise from the people sitting outside of the Cristal park hotel opposite.
Stayed 4th - 11th Feb. Room was at the back facing a brick wall so no view but as it was cold it didn't matter. Room was clean & basic TV not worth watching as no English channels so used TV radio only. Food was ok previous person mentioned breakfast on last day I was told they would bring it to our room then said we could have it in dining room at 7.15 which was not the case but it didn't matter to us. I heard the 2 guests making a fuss at the staff as well but was soon sorted. This hotel is in a good location for the old town but the school next door is very noisy most of the day but probably wont be a problem in the summer as they will be on school holidays. Staff were friendly as were the hotel guests. Bar prices were very reasonable.
Both arrived 28th jan for two weeks half board .we returned to Benidorm after our first ever visit over Christmas for two weeks self catering at another Hotel .Vista Oro is closer to the beach than previous Hotel . The hotel must have been refurbished as it was very clean and fresh .All areas - the bar/restaurant/pool area and rooms were very good and the daily and evening entertainment would suit most tourists .On the morning we left there was one irate guest who demanded breakfast at 7.30 am , it was made clear to me and anyone else who look the time to ask that there would be coffee ,toast , biscuits , fruit and cereals ,buns and preserves .PLENTY .
