Great place to stay for a week or longer. Area is ready for some good hikes and a good dive in the swimming pool is also relaxing. The food which is mainly made from own produced products is really good. We can recommand the coocking workshop, it is fun and a great way to learn the secrets behind some excellent dishes. People are relaxed there so great place to stay

We have really enjoyed it here, the location is all quiet and situated in a beautiful area. The staff is super friendly and the food nothing short of amazing! There is a lovely farm tour you can take, great cooking workshop with the owner and the chef, you can even go horseback riding (when the weather allows it) Only downsides were ; - the tight bathroom, - the noise in our downstairs studio from upstairs, - the relatively scarce interior of the studio, But I guess all of these things are really relative. And lastly the time you need to undertake something, Agrigento and Cefalù are minimum 1h15 to 1h30 drive regardless of the distance in km or miles but both are worth it and the route is breathtakingly beautiful, the roads are terrible or sometimes not even existing but the views make it more than worth it! In short, we would love to come back here

This place was in the top 3 things we identified after spending 3 weeks in Italy. It was the first stop we made and set a pretty high bar. The views from the balconies look fake. It's just like the pictures you see. The food was one of the best we had in Italy. Very authentic. The people were even better. You have to do pizza night where they open the outdoor restaurant to the locals. It was a blast.

We stayed with our 20 year old son for 5 days in August. We had a lovely stay. We were made to feel very welcome and all the staff did everything to make our stay amazed. We would recommend going on the farm your and trying lots of ricotta . The food was lovely and gave us a very good idea of Sicilian food . A car is really helpful but you can us the train to get to the city and there are several walking routes that are advertised . We fell in love with the young dog who liked to great us in the morning. Highly recommend

We went for two weeks in August this year. Beautiful island, lovely people, great food. Giuseppe and his team were warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Most of the food served in the restaurant is from their own farm/dairy and the quality is excellent. Recommend the farm tour to see cheese being made. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a small kitchen area with fridge. The pool was lovely, but could get a bit busy and noisy sometimes. Could do with some more parasols too, if you prefer a shadier spot like us. Small town of Alia was just up the hill, with a small Spar for supplies and a pharmacy just in case. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in the country then this is definitely for you, but be aware that it is at least a couple of hours drive to get to some of the sights, on some pretty dodgy roads!

My second time staying at the Villa Daphne.....the grounds are beautiful, the personnel are very helpful and courteous. The food is very good. The WiFi is not very good and needs to work in every room...it didn't work in my room! The air conditioning and mattresses need upgrading in the rooms.

We loved our room and the view from our balcony to Italian fields and nature. We also took a tour to a dairy farm which was awesome - our guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interesting. We wish we had stayed longer :)

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights as part of our holiday in Sicily. We chose to stay because of the great reviews and were not disappointed. Our flight was late and then the wait for the hire car took a lot longer than expected but Pippo very kindly waited up to let us in to our room which we were very grateful for. The views from the hotel are beautiful and the food tasty and authentic. We took the cookery class which was fab, they teach you how to cook local dishes and then we all sat down in the evening together to eat what we'd made. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I would happily stay here again if we ever come to visit Sicily in the future. On a side note, if you're a cat lover, they have plenty of cats living in the surrounding shrubs which we often went to see for a pet or to give them leftovers. They are pretty friendly but will generally leave you alone unless you go to them.

We stayed in Villa Daphne for 4 days. Very friendly staff (reception, restaurant, cleaning etc). The rooms were a bit small (few space to store the luggage), noisy (I could hear the neighbours talk). Nice pool. Very nice food. Distant from places where you can visit something, bad routes.

Our stay at Villa Dafne was a wonderful experience. Located with a 360 degree view of rural Sicily and nothing but the sounds of cow bells, birds, and cicadas to disturb the peace. Super friendly staff, delicious classic italian food in plentiful servings (much of which is made from their own dairy products and veggies). I highly recommend Villa Dafne and wouldn't think twice before booking there again, if we should return to Sicily for another vacation.
