Samir Hotel review

The hotel is in the city center, but not quiet calm because it's located next to a very busy and crowded road. The staff are nice people, the hotel doesn't have an elevator, the room seems to be clean but there are lot of smells, bad ones.

It was ok but walking to fitlh floor was not good and good to supply some water do drink in the rooms Also think of providing food ((For Pay)

It was lovely to have an airconditioned room all to myself with a private toilet & shower. The location was ideal for everything I was doing and the staff were wonderful. The availability of a breakfast items was also a treat! I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone as they travel to Algiers! Thank you :)

Hotel Samir

I stayed at Hotel Samir for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful, including the manager who was happy to answwer any questions I asked. The hotel is situated right in ther cwntre of Algiers, convienent for everything. if you walk for 10-15 minutes down the street there is a metro station with stops to all the main tourist sites.

A well located hotel with all commodities

The Samir Hotel is perfectly located to visit the centre of Alger by foot. The rooms are small but fully equiped with air conditioning. Mattresses are maybe a little bit too thin. But the staff is very nice and helpful.

Good hotel in good location

This is a basic hotel that provides good value in the price range. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is excellent. Breakfast is basic but the rooms are comfortable and the wifi worked OK. I will happily return there.

Stairway to heaven.....Too many STAIRS

The rooms I stayed in do not look like the picture. They only have beds in them and no seating areas. It is on a main street and the people outside can be loud at times. The breakfast is just bread. No, cook to order food. They do go out of there way to help and most speak more than one language. So, they can speak to you in English very well. The rooms with the 1 bed in them are small with no updated bathroom. They have a lot of stairs!

VERY NICE STAFF......They also speak ENGLISH!!!!

The front desk speak English! Everyone is very nice and try to help you out. They are near to shops, food stores and about 3 miles from the beach. They are right near the bus station and metro station train. The WIFI is great! The cheap room is very small and not good at all. It has a bathroom shower in one. There is nothing to separate the two. But if you pay for the next price rooms up it is big and has a regular bathroom and shower. They did upgrade me to a bigger room away from all the noise without me even asking them to do it. They do try to make sure you have a nice comfortable stay. They DO NOT HAVE A MADE TO ORDER BREAKFAST!!! They have a very very very simple breakfast with bread and bread and bread coffee and juice. That it :( Please note they only have stairs and a lot a lot a lot of them. It is an old building so they have the old kind that go on for what seemed like miles. I had to stop and rent and only went out when needed because of the stairs. They do have the staff to help. They have nothing updates but for the price.......its okay

Good Hotel deal in Algeirs

WiFI was fine. Accommodations minimal but good enough and the price was very low. Minimal breakfast included. Local area great for walking and shopping. I walked the 3 miles each way to a sandy beach.

The jewel of Algiers

Yousfi and his squad at reception were beyond helpful. Loved the old colonial decor of the place. Was everything I was expecting and wanting from Algeria. Very central to all the life in the city too!

Good 1 or 2 star hotel

I chose this as being central and affordable and than was scared by some terrible reviews I read but it is a nice Spartan simple old fashioned hotel. For US $50 a night it was fine - at least my room 105 on first floor was. No lift. Wonderful location on principal street. They forgot to knock on my door the last day (my telephone had been stolen).
