Charming, newly renovated stone Bothy with beautiful outlook and minutes from Loch Lomond and it’s golf courses! 5 mins south of Luss and 30 mins from Glasgow

The space
The School House Bothy has just been converted into a state of the art bolthole, commanding beautiful views over the surrounding hillsides.
There is a king size bed which can be split if required into two singles
The cottage is heated and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. A flat-screen TV comes with satellite channels, and guests can stay connected with free WiFi. The Bothy is absolutely beautiful and in a quiet location but convenient to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Even though we were there in December, Fiona had it well heated for us arriving and with both the stove and underfloor heating it was cosy the whole time. The only reason I have given 4 rather than 5 stars is due to the lack of internet. Fiona did her best to sort it but it did detract slightly from our time there. Regardless of this, we would still love to return, maybe in Spring or Autumn when I imagine the beautiful scenery around Loch Lomond would be even more spectacular.

We’ve stayed in quite a number of short term rentals and can say that the Bothy has absolutely been our favorite! Fiona has thought of everything and we absolutely loved all the little touches. It was everything we needed. Great, fully stocked kitchen so we could cook healthy meals for ourselves and a very comfy bed to get much needed rest. She even offered to do a wash for us if we needed. We were honestly so sad to leave. Its proximity to Luss was a huge plus. Love the area!
