We enjoyed our stay at your house! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The screened in porch as fantastic with a great view of the lake.The location was super being close to Alex City and Wind Creek state park. We look forward to visiting again!
Would have been great to have a boat slip near by. If you stay at this property, just know you can get a slip rent at Wind Creek Park from just over $15 a night. This house was the perfect little lake house with a fenced in yard for our golden doodle. The VRBO fees made this over $500 for one night. It made the value of the stay seem way too expensive for the size and location.
House was clean, well-furnished and very comfortable. Part of yard is steep - our quads got a workout - but it was well-kept.
Beware: do not use Peppers Road to get to house if it has been raining. Road was closed due to high water over road. Use Wind Creek Farm Road.
Love the doggie door and fenced in backyard.Quiet location, we didn't go to the water because we didn't know the intended access point for this rental. It appeared the only access to the water was on someone else property, so we lounged around for a much needed 3 days.Regardless we had fun and cooked A LOT
