Dwtn Bungalow A, Pet Friendly
The 2 unit duplex is a few blocks from Downtown, The Railyards, The Hispanic Cultural Center, several hospitals, Netflix Studios, the Airport, the AFB, and the Zoo.
A friendly neighborhood kitty may come by. Feel free to ignore him if you don’t want to interact. Orange and White tabby in the photos. His name is Charlie. He has some friends that come by occasionally as well so cat-friendly guests are preferred and your cats are welcomed to stay with you at no additional cost.
Gentle dogs & service animals are also welcome to stay. All animals must be pre-approved.
THE SPACE: Private studio ( or Jr 1 bedroom) with separate sleeping area, living room, kitchen & bath. Shared front porch, shared back yard, and shared laundry room.
Community supplies in the laundry room for your convenience — extra cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, laundry, etc.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Quiet and friendly street in a historic part of town; very walkable; bike trail, restaurants, shopping, and bars nearby. The "First Friday" of every month has an Art Walk downtown just a few blocks away. Sunday nights on Central the vintage car clubs cruise at dusk. Railyard Farmers Market Seasonal Weekends.
This unit (A) has a small bathroom with a standing shower, a small but full size kitchen, one clothing closet, and a walled off space between bedroom and living room although not a full wall/door. See pics.
Three total units on the property:
Parking for Unit A = Street Parking in front of the property.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Albuquerque is a beautiful city with a lot of character and natural open spaces. But it is a city.
Keeping your car door locked and don’t leave things in your car or on the porch is generally good advice for a city, regardless of where you might be. The same applies here, especially on the porch.
Bikes will disappear almost instantly, as anything else of flea market value, if let outside. Opportunistic Petty Crime but a generally safe area. Be smart and your things will be fine.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

Great spot feels like a home
We loved our stay here! It’s furnished like a real home with comfy furniture, lots of pillows and color. The location is great, close to the river trail and downtown. We loved meeting the friendly resident cats. This is a pet-friendly spot, so if you have pet allergies keep in mind that there will be pet fur around; think a home with cats that has been cleaned.

Humble stay near downtown/airport
Located in a good area, some parts of the neighborhood look a little rough but the street the house is on felt comfortable. Quick responses from host on whatever concerns we had.
